We live in Smoot Wyoming. It is a small town 75 miles south of Jackson hole. We love the outdoors, horses, snowmobiling, spending time with our family. We live in peaceful, quiet valley with beautiful seasons.

Shelley was a great hostess. Smoot is a beautiful area. It's a quiet alternative to Jackson. We did some excellent snowshoeing in Bridger National Forest. Her sweet dog, Bernard, was a great friend and such a happy go lucky dog! I would definitely stay again.
To call Shelly a "host" is a bit unfair, my wife and I feel more like old friends, or even family. Shelly's place is exactly as described, even better actually. We never felt like we were intruding and actually felt like we were at home. We highly recommend staying with Shelly and will most definitely be back!
Had last minute change in plans for our hunting trip. No problem with Shelly adjusting our plans to stay on such short notice. I hope the boys left everything tidy.. Thank you so much for helping the guys out. Hopefully we will see you again soon!!!
The most nice experience in the cozy lodge, big enough for my family to sleep for my boy to play, especially for the kid a happy living and my dream is someday we can have a lodge like this， recommend to others ，I wish someday we will return to the lodge .miss Shelly miss burly and miss everybody in the family
Shelly was very friendly and helpful. She recommended a restaurant and we had a nice dinner. Sleeping arrangements were quite comfortable. We enjoyed our visit.
Shelly just took us in like family. Her ohm was just that... A true home. A peaceful and restful place. Breakfast was fantastic and bountiful. The setting is amazing as we'll.
Shelly and Terryl were wonderful hosts. We had use of the basement rooms which included washer/dryer and a huge TV. Sherry made scrumptious breakfasts everyday before leaving for work. Terryl took my daughters on a trail ride early one morning which they thoroughly enjoyed. The surrounding neighborhood was beautiful, and the cabin was a short car ride from the small town where there were shops and restaurants.
Our time spent at the Cozy Cabin was everything we hoped for and more! Shelly and her husband are 2 of the most wonderful people we have encountered. We were a bit nervous as this was our first time to use airbnb, I am pleased to say all of our expectations we exceeded. Staying with them was by far one of the best experiences we had on our vacation and I would encourage anyone and everyone to stay with them...even if that means going out of your way!
My friend and I arrived at Shelly's late in the evening. Her husband Terryl greeted us and was very welcoming. We spent two nights at their house and could not have asked for a nicer host or better place to stay. We loved hearing about the area and learning more about them. I would definately recommend staying with them if you are in the area and will stay again if I am out in Wyoming.
We did not make to meet Shelly in person, but we were greeted by her husband Terryl with great hospitality. He's such a great midwestern gentleman who does not say much, but does a lot, a quality that is so valuable and apparent in the eyes of someone who is from the metropolitain east. He invited us to horse riding and was so patient to teach us green hands. Sadly we were such bad students, for safety concern, that we did not make to go riding with him outside the ranch. We felt so indebted to "wasting" his time and was even trying to say sorry to him; yet he opened his mouth before we do, "do you guys like raspberry? grab a basket and get some for your breakfast!" We were so grateful but still kind of restrained by our second language to express ourselves. The feeling of appreciation was wide spread all over our stay. The next morning, we woke up so late that we missed Shelly, who prepared delicious breakfast for us ( with clean-washed raspberry and so much more). I had some nice conversation with Terryl about horses in China, and he presented me the "nail" of his horses! Yellowstone gives us the best view of nature, Terryl and Shelly showed us the best quality of the American west culture, and Airbnb culture. We look forward to going back again, and I even wish to host them in my own house someday (when I get one after finding a job after school, maybe in China or Myanmar).
Loved having Shelly and her husband stay the night with us. I wish we had more time to hang out. We would love to have them back anytime they are in Salt Lake - they are friendly, engaging, perfect guests!
