Ed and me are a welcoming couple. Unfortunately our beloved dog, Jordan, in the picture, is now looking down on us from doggy heaven. We are very keen walkers and cyclists.
Pat was our first Air bnb host and was wonderful. She was friendly, very easy to communicate with before we arrived, helpful re travelling to and from her house, and generous with delicious homemade bread :)
Her house is walkable distance from Brighton train station though a bus gets you there more quickly. It's 2 mins from both the seafront and one of the main shopping streets on a lovely quiet road, with two nice pubs a little further down the street. We had use of a shared kitchen and shared bathroom-both were clean and spacious and the shower was fantastic (strong and hot!), though it is the only shower in the house so there was a little wait on one of our mornings.
The room itself was clean and more than adequate space-wise for two people. The window opened onto a nice view through back gardens so the room was not noisy.
Altogether a brilliant introduction to Air bnb for us, and Pat comes very highly recommended.
Pat and Eddie made me feel very welcome during my stay and proved to be excellent, relaxed hosts, with great local knowledge and advice, eg Bankers fish & chips, The Farm Tavern. The comfortable bed, good shower, fast WiFi and freshly baked bread in the morning were all plus points. The location is an easy 15 minute walk into Brighton town centre or 5 minutes to the seafront in Hove. If they have availability, I'd happily stay again
Pat is such a lovely lady. Her house is so nice and cosy and we liked it from the first moment. Everything was easy going with Pat and her husband Eddie. .. we really had the feeling to stay "at home".
Brighton was wonderful!!! We loved it!
It is such a lovely house and just a 5 minutes walk to the sea. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was cosy and the room has enough place for all my stuff. Pat is a very nice host, you can ask her any questions.
We had a really lovely room, very clean and homely. Pat and Ed are really lovely and welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay in ther home. The location was fantastic as it was a 5 minute walk in to the town centre
Stayed in Brighton for 3 days with my girlfriend. Pat was very inviting, and the house was cozy. The wireless was very good, too. The only downside is that it is not as central as it could be, about 15-20 minutes from the pier/center of town. All in all, though, a very pleasant stay.
Très bon accueil de Pat et son compagnon qui vous mettent à l'aise tout de suite. Le quartier est bien situé et bien desservi.
The room was nice, located in the centre of the town only a few minutes walk to the beach. We´ve had a great stay in Brighton, thanks Pat for sharing your house with us, it was really nice meeting you ! We´ll definitelly use airbnb again for our future travelling plans !

Pat & Ed are very easy going and accommodating hosts. The room was comfortable and cosy. We had good internet access, the shower is great and there's a lovely bath to soak in. There were other people staying but we did not see or hear them! Everyone was very respectful and private -- Pat left breakfast fixings and tea for us in the kitchen ... it was all very easy and friendly. Location is good, on the border of Brighton and Hove just off a main road with access to buses, taxis, all kinds of shops, pubs and restaurants. Easy to walk everywhere ... which we did!
Pat is a wonderful host!
Cool, quite and respectfull !
Thank you for your visit !
