Monique was a very welcoming host, despite our having arrived late after getting lost! The space is lovely, really spacious, with proper separate living space which no-one has to sleep in, making it well set up for longer stays. Lovely garden and countryside views. Lovely breakfast (7 Euros per head) for which we were most grateful. Delicious home-made jam!
Monique welcomed us at the gate when we arrived and showed us the accommodations. She provided some great site recommendations for us to visit while we were in the area and let us know where we could find groceries for breakfast in the morning. We were a big group of 9 and there was more than enough space for us to spread out. Lovely accommodations. Very clean and bright, and a great space for little ones to run around in.
3 of us stayed here for 4 nights to explore the WW1 battlefields and it was an ideal location. We spent 1 day around Arras and 2 days around Albert. The accommodation was even better than described on the website and the hosts were really welcoming and friendly. All the beds were made up even though we only needed 3 and there were plenty of towels. The twin room has an en-suite toilet and washbasin which is not mentioned in the description. I would most definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area.
The Green Lime Tree Inn is well located and very lovely. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Madame Pierron is very pleasant. I would be happy to stay there again.
Madame Pierron has a beautiful flower garden surrounding the patio which makes a good place for outdoor dining. There is a washing machine in the Inn, as well as a dishwasher, which add to the convenience. Madame Pierron has a vegetable garden, also, from which she gave us fresh, delicious salad greens.
I recommend the Green Lime Tree Inn.
Monique & Rennea were perfect hosts with a warm and friendly greeting. Assisted us in all our needs. The description was perfect. Location is kerf ect for any visitors to France WW1 history.
En acceptant de nous donner les clés plus tôt que prévu, on a vraiment apprécié l'accueil. Le logement était encore mieux que sur les photos ! Salle de bains très spacieuse et très lumineuse.
A recommander sans hésitation !
As a family of four from South Africa we appreciated the spacious accommodation and warm welcome from Monique. Great jumping off point for exploring battlefields.
Monique was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was very comfortable giving us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay. Monique was very helpful and keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
Our weekend stay at Monique's home was very pleasant, beautifully set by a quiet village and well placed for visits to WW1 battlefields.
The place was spacious, warm and cosy. Monique was very welcoming and warm to us, and gave us some great advise on how to approach the environs as it can be overwhelming.
All in all a great spot to stay and would go back.
We stayed at the Green lime tree for a couple of nights to visit the WW-I battlefields in the neighborhood. It proved to be a choice.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The fact that we arrived late in the evening was not an issue for them.
The accommodation itself was very comfortable and well equipped. The house lies in on the edge of a quiet village and is on walking distance from some of the WW-I sites. The town of Bapaume is close by, which made it easy to get groceries.
All in all we had a good time at the Green lime tree, and I hope to stay there again in future.
C'est avec plaisir que je vous accueillerai une autre fois.
Merci encore d'avoir fait votre connaissance de vous Marc et de vos amis.
