For those who do not speak German, here is the translation from Google translate: Staying with Lynne was very spacious and clean. The hostess was all over the house very lovingly collected all sorts of odds and ends and decorated. Order and cleanliness is important to her , and she expects the same from their guests. For orientation, many written notes exist . Those who do get along , is in good hands with Lynne . It is also very hard to give advice and information for the stay; we could not use everything, because we only spent one night there. Thank you, Lynne .
I REALLY LIKED THE THISSENs VERY MUCH, AND I HOPE THEY RETURN SOME DAY. THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND LOVELY PEOPLE. IT'S HARD FOR GUESTS TO NEGOTIATE A HOUSE AND A LARGE SPACE WITH ONLY A DAY TO DO IT, SO I PUT NOTES ON IMPORTANT THINGS TO HELP CLARIFY HOW EVERYTHING WORKS. THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH WONDERFUL GUESTS!!!!
While Pat and Woody "loved the affordability", they complained about things I NEVER advertised. Seems to me that they quite enjoyed some of the 60,000 available commercial-free movies they watched every night. I've always appreciated honest feedback, I have improved when I could AFFORD to improve things that people didn't like. However, I have absolutely no intention of adding a $2000 pool heater which will give me a $150 a month higher electric bill or a $300 a month cable tv improvement so guests can watch "Dancing with the Stars".....unless I started charging $160 a night which no one would pay to stay here. I've always said that some people should stay at a Sheraton or a Hilton and then happily complain about everything to the Sheraton and Hilton staffs who would happily listen to it... Those are NOT the guests I want to host. People stay here because they want to save money, but they should not then complain about things my home lacks when compared to an expensive resort.
The weather has been a real problem this year. We just don't understand it, and I personally DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS WEATHER when I moved here. LOL. I think we are still getting the edge of the bad weather to the north, so nothing can really be done. If I had my way, it would always be 90 degrees.
Beverly, you're terrific!!!! Oh, the tooth problem has disappeared, but I have a dental appointment next week. Not sure what that was all about, but I appreciate your concern! Not to worry, all is well...
