Amanda et son mari sont des personnes très sympathiques qui ont été respectueuses et très à l'écoute.
J'ai récupéré mon appartement dans un état impeccable
Ils reviennent quand ils veulent !
Bonne continuation à eux
What a generosity ! What a joy of life ! What enthuses ! What a patience with our English ! Amanda knows how to give the impression to you of being perfectly bilingual !!! This extraordinary woman and her husband David are among our best wishes of this summer. Thank you Amanda, thank you David, for your visit at our home ! Tasmania will be in our hearts what stars are for us !
Airbnb has asked us to review Amanda. We cannot, she cancelled her booking and chose not stay with us. She did not step foot inside the building.
In response to her review, our drive (and garden wall) do need attention and will be our 2014 springtime project. Our grass also needs mown (and the hedge trimmed) but the weather this last week or two has prevented this.
The outside of our house does not provide an accurate first impression of the guest accommodation to be found inside. Had Amanda ventured inside, she would have found warm, welcoming, clean and recently renovated bedrooms, bathroom and guest lounge. We are not and do not pretend to be the equivalent of the £70 per night accommodation that Amanda went on to stay at in among the more formal lochside tourism accommodations in Fort William (most of which are not to be found on Airbnb unfortunately). We offer relaxed, friendly, super-comfortable rooms and our location is residential, not commercial.
We do however acknowledge that first impressions are important and we will be repairing our drive and garden wall as soon as budget permits. As to the lawn, we await a break in the weather that lets the grass dry up enough to cut it!
Amanda and David were fabulous guests, very kind and with a great sense of humour. I immediately felt like I had known them for a long time, and was completely at ease with them both. The apartment was left immaculate, and I was even invited in to share a glass of wine with them. Great guests, great personalities and would be welcome back any time.
Amanda was a great guest and is welcome back anytime
Amanda and Dave were fabulous company and considerate guests. They spent four nights here and we enjoyed learning about Tasmania and talking over a bottle of wine about life, work and their exciting three month holiday plans. They have an infectious enthusiasm and we highly recommend them as guests.
