Unfortunately Gema, after having made the reservation, never told me precisely the time of her arrival, nor replied to my several messages asking her when she would arrive, as I knew I could not stay at home all day. In my last message (via email and sms) I told her that I would leave the keys for her in a café around the corner, in case she would not turn up by the time I had to leave. Anway, I waited for her until 15.30, when I had to go out, and left the keys in the café, as notified. Apparently she never read those messages, so she turned up as I was away and only called me two hours later, when I explained her again where to gt the keys. When I met her later in the apartment I apologized again for the inconveniences, asked if everything was ok and explained to her that it is crucial to comunicate beforehand the exact arrival time as one cannot expect the host to wait all day for the guest, and she said she understood and that it was no problem. She had no further questions, so I left her to rest. I was really surprised to read in her review later how annoyed she was by this situation and that she didn't feel welcome. I am sorry for that, but I hope she learned now how to better comunicate with the hosts so that these unpleasant situations won't occur again in the future.
Gema is a nice teacher who has taught me a lot and we laugh together. Two days we spent together was unfortunately a short time. Again next year I hope to come for several days. Friend Five best for everyone but myself
Excellent guest, very honest, very clean and responsable! Hope, you come again!
