Bright, clean and quiet apartment, located in the center. Leo is a very friendly host. I will recommend this place!
It's a perfect little hideout in an absoutely awesome location! Ideal access from the airport via the aerobus which stops right around the corner from the appartment. Leo was great, waiting for us late in the evening to show us everything there and welcomed us with a bottle of wine (thanks!) :)
Everything feels a bit studenty, getting the water to the right temperature with the gas heater is a bit tricky and it's a lot of stairs. But none of this should get in the way of an amazing stay (what could beat a hammock on a roof in the middle of Barcelona!?) unless you're overly picky about these kinds of things :)
I will recommend this place!
The location was absolutely perfect, so close to the Rambla. The place is smaller than it looks on the photos, but not too small if you don't plan to spend too much time inside. The apartment gets quite hot if it's hot outside. Of course there is the airconditioner but it's so loud you can't have it on when you're sleeping.
Some strange loud noises coming from the hallway at night and you will hear from the next door neighbours due to the windows being always open and pretty much right next to each other. Some young lads next door were quite noisy at times, but nothing too bad. You can also hear the people yelling on the street, especially on the weekends and it can be quite loud as well, but wouldn't expect any less at a location like this.
The fridge is functioning great, but the freezer apartment not so much (don't put icecream in there...). There's a washing machine on the terrace, but we couldn't get it to work, which was probably just our fault and not it being broken...
All in all, for the price and the location I would definitely recommend it, if you don't mind some noise and getting up the stairs.
When I arrived at the BCN airport and called Leo he didn't answer me and I started getting nervous. I didn’t know if Leo was going to meet me in the apartment or not. It was at 11.30 p.m. (The day before I got in touch with him and he told me that he would wait for us in the apartment and I would be able to contact him).
When we arrived at his place his neighbor met us. Thank you so much for it Conchita!!!
Conchita opened the apartment and showed us around and told us everything.
My first impression of the apartment was very bad (it looked worse than in the photos on airbnb).
When I went for a walk around Barselonetta district, I understood that this flat was good.
- The neighbor is very good, she is warm-hearted.
- The district is good. There’s underground and a supermarket close to the apartment.
- The whole flat, the bed sheets, the towels weren’t very clean.
- I could use hot water only a little because the hot water tank was small.
- The household appliances and furniture were very old. I was afraid to wash my clothes in the washing machine.
- WiFi worked very badly. When I wanted to send an E-mail, I went to Conchita’s door to do it because the WiFi routing gateway was in Conchita’s flat.
- There was stone floor which was very cold.
- The sewer pipes were clogged.
Great apartment in a very good, central location.
My wife and i stayed during la merci festival, there were concerts on all around the city and people were partying all night. Great thing about the apartment was that u walk a few steps out the front door and you are in the middle of it all but once inside the apartment there was no noise.
There are a few stairs up to the apartment but it didn't bother us.
We had a wildromantique time up in the sky over Barcelona in Leo's Attico. It was great to swing through the warm autumnights in the hammock ... philosophing about the happenings of the day. Leo is a smart helpful host and was easy and fast to contact when any questions came up. When we come back to Barcelona we shurely will try to rent that pretty little hideout again - it's a real gem in that cultural vibrating tresor !

+ Excelent location. Big balcony shared with neighbours. Well equipped. Friendly and not noisy neighbours.
- High floor (7th for russians) without elevator, small apartment and especially bathroom (it's pretty hard to wash even your hands). Though the neighbours aren't quite noisy, but you'll know they are at home, especially when they watch football. The fan couldn't work well enough (at last in august for us).
In the end... Perfect accomodation for young people without children. And it doesn't fit at all elderly people or families with children.
Nice, small , simple and quiet apartment on the roof. If you enjoy walking, it also creates no lift. We enjoyed the patio very much. To get hot water for the shower is a bit cumbersome. The location of the apartment in the center is perfect!
This apartment was a great crash pad. It is definitely a bare essentials type of apartment- nothing extraordinary about it (other than the terrace) but you will have everything you need. The fact that it was a walk up was a bit tough but not unbearable. Leo was very responsive and even left us a bottle of wine and welcomed us with some beers! It was a great welcome to Barcelona.
Leo's apartment is really well located and pleasant. He welcomed us with Julia and took time to tell us everything we needed to know about the apartment. When we had questions he answered quickly and tried to find solutions. We really enjoyedour stay in Barcelona!
És un noi molt maco. Et fa de seguida de la seva família. Sap molt de la vida perque és molt jove però ha viscut i viu a tope... D'aquí a poc temps, ja podrà posar el català com a idioma que domina.
Leo is great, down to earth, charming and energetic, always up to something. I can imagine that he will do his best to make your vacation enjoyable and to help you in any way possible.
His apartment is a lovely little space, with a wonderful terrace, sunny and bright. Quiet but still central.
Leo has a really lovely flat with a terrace garden - both he and the appartment are charming! Highly recommended and well worth a visit to Barcelona.
Como estás rapaz? Vejo que continuas por aqui... espero que estejas bem e, até breve!
