My wife, my daughter and I went to Lawrence and Camila's place. The experience was fantastic. The apartment is beautiful, impeccably clean, and incredibly well-located (just 10 minutes away from Met).
Lawrence and Camila are very warm and educated people, as well as their two adorable daughters.
Bottom line, it was a pleasure being there. I'm truly convinced that we couldn't have found a better place to stay in NYC, both due to the apartment itself and Lawrence and his family.
We're looking forward to returning soon.
We were very lucky to meet such wonderful hosts with our first time use of airbnb! Camilla and Larry are highly educated and cosmopolitan people. It was a real pleasure to stay and talk with them. We felt at home and really missed the house when we left...

Our stay at Larry and Camila's place was fine, the bedroom is a bit tight for 2 people with luggage. Camila and Larry were very kind, helpful and welcoming with us and their daughters lovely.
The location is very nice close to the subway and central park.
The only negative side is that you have to deal with the sleeping time (or not) of the girls and this is why we would recommend this place only to people who are not disturbed by the noise or are use to living with small kids.
First experience with Airbnb. We were very satisfied. Camila and Larry were so lovely and cute. It was very exciting talk with them, play with their wonderful daughters, learn details about new york life, education, economy, architecture, jobs, ecc. They gave us a lot of tips about where having dinner or lunch or where shopping. The very little negative aspects is that the life in the apartment is a little bit affected by the sleeping or waking hours of two little daughters. Anyway we felt part of their family and we recommend to be host by Larry and Camila at all.
Excellent location in very nice neighborhood with many good restaurants around the corner, walking distance from Central park and many museums. Most pleasant professional hosts going more than the extra mile. Apartment is true to the description, but more spacious than I expected. Lovely family home that I had the privilege to share with wonderful couple and their delightful daughters. Will definitely recommend and will also stay there again.
Camille and Larry are very nice and welcoming.
The kids are adorable (though they can be loud sometimes, like all kids ;-)).
It's a great location in New York.
Close to the subway so you can get downtown pretty easily.
Lots of restaurants and bars around too and Camille and Larry will be more than happy to give you pointers if needed!
I recommend it if you want to stay with a great family in New York!
Very nice hosts, we spend good time with Larry, Camila and the two pretty daughters. The location was excellent, very convenient to transportation. Beautiful apartment, comfortable, the bedroom was quiet and spacious and the ensuit bathroom has a wonderful shower. We hope to come back and stay there again in the meantime I would recommend it to my friends. We loved the neighborhood with good and varied restaurants that the hosts have suggested us. Camilla speaks a good italian and it is very nice to hear the whole family talking in many other different languages!
I thoroughly enjoyed staying with Larry and Camila - two of the most genuine and courteous people I've encountered in years. They did everything they could and more to make me feel comfortable and welcome in their home, which is far beyond an apartment. I plan on staying with them again whenever in New York. In fact, I look forward to it!
Great location. Larry and Camille are wonderful hosts with the most precious little girls. My young adult daughter and I stayed 3 nights and although they list that the bedroom accommodates 2, actually it's a very tight fit and 1 would be best. We were welcomed to use their kitchen but we were excited to be in NYC and experience the restaurants! Remember this is like staying with family -- kids crying sometimes during the night and the patter of little feet running down the hall in early morning. Best location, loved it! If traveling to NYC alone, I'd definitely consider staying at Larry's place.
Lawrence was completely calm, collected, focused, and kind. He went to the beach, visited our local coffee shop, relaxed at home, toured Venice a bit and was just easy to have around. Really kind and very nice house guest. Thank you Lawrence!
