Hi I'm Dido, i'm a musician !! no worries I do not practice at home !
I speak french because I grow in France and some messy English !
This house was a dream; I wish I could have stayed longer. It was easy to walk anywhere in the city, while being a bit removed from the most noisy areas. Nice private bathroom. The decor was amazing and it felt so relaxed, with many comfortable areas to sit/chill/read/gaze at the flowers and volcano. Will recommend to anyone I know coming to Guatemala!
We stay 3 nights there. And basically its fine.Except we couldn't have hot shower in every night.Dido explained the water press is weak. But it will be ok in the morning. They have a beautiful courtyard with arcade. But the kitchen was just ok.a little bit of rough.overall，everything is fine.
Good room in good location - close walking distance to all main objects but still felt really peaceful and quiet. The garden was a perfect place for rest and long afternoon drink after wandering around Antigua.
We arrived at Dido's place after a 13 hour travel day from Mexico. Opening to door to this beautiful colonial home, we immediately felt relieved and relaxed. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Dido and her mother and all the visitors who stopped by during our stay were very friendly. Dido made recommendations for restaurants and provided us with a map. She even helped us order food on our first night when we were exhausted from our long day. Note that breakfast is not included, but that had no effect on what a great time we had at Dido's place. There is a fantastic bakery and restaurant 2 blocks away which also has a small grocers, we made very good use of this place!
We recently stayed at Dido's and we enjoyed very much~~so quiet and peaceful, comfortable bed and clean with beautiful court yard.~~Would stay there again~~
My wife and I had a wonderful stay with Dido. Her property is absolutely charming and everyone there is so sweet and welcoming. We will definitely make this our place to stay when we are in Antigua. Having an outdoor kitchen was a huge advantage and the location is a very easy walk from the Parque Central. Thanks, Dido and we look forward to seeing you again!
The house is really beautiful and quiet but still nearby the center of Antigua, just a few minutes away of everything but it doesn't feel as touristic as other places. The bed was very comfortable with soft sheets and I loved the fresh roses in the bedroom! Communication could be improved but still a fantastic stay, thanks Dido!
Response from Dido Nadamas:
Thanks Tania for staying with us !! I guess I need an smart phone !
Séjour agréable dans une très jolie villa, quartier tranquille. C'est un bon endroit où séjourner si vous voulez visiter Antigua!
The house and garden in Antigua Guatemala is lovely and comfortable. We tremendously enjoyed our stay.
There is an outdoor kitchen, which works very nicely to prepare your own breakfast or meals. There is a simple gas range, with two burners.
Dido and Dido's elegant mother, are delightful, generous and very interesting hostesses. The house is truly a very beautiful colonial casa. I adore the room, with private bath and lots of hot water, that I was accommodated in. All of the rooms step out to a gorgeous courtyard. Antiques and many items of interest fill the areas adjacent to the guest rooms Just prior to my departure the outdoor kitchen was enlarged and is very adequate for light meals, salads, soups, pasta etc. There is a full size refrigerator, two burner propane hot top, microwave, blender, coffee maker and lots of utensils, cutlery and pots & pans etc. Free filtered water is always available. There is also a beautiful pajaro to entertain and sing to you while you prepare your meal. I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful casa and the gracious people that make it happen. I look forward to re-booking upon my return to Antigua.
We stayed at Carolina's guest house in Antigua, Guatemala. It's a really pretty house, with lots of vegetation and flowers. It's an old, beautiful house that is decorated with a lot of antiques. It's a quiet, peaceful place and we had a nice stay there. Carolina and her mother were very helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to help us for small things we needed. I would highly recommend it.
