I studied Product Design at Stanford ('06) and was an ethnographic researcher for seven years. The year I turned 30, I built a wooden boat from scratch and realized it was time to leave the rat race and focus on working with my hands, which I have always loved. I am excited to be a current student at the renowned College of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking program in Fort Bragg, CA.
I lived in co-ops in college and have been lucky to have wonderful housemates my entire adult life. I'm a great house guest - friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Besides woodworking and boatbuilding, my interests include photography, fiddling, hiking, and bike touring.
I love experiencing different ways of living, and find that Airbnb allows me to meet and be in inspired by new people and places!
