I really liked the house It was comfy and had everything you need. Four of us stayed here and it was perfect in size. Jenna was a great host, she answered any questions I had and worked really well with me in order to book the house. It's hard to find good people like that. It's in walking distance to the French quarter, the cemetery, the river etc. We didn't mind walking everywhere so it helps that it was close. The treme coffee shop was nice, we would go for a snack in the morning it's right next door. There's umbrellas and lawn chairs which was perfect for our stay there. Nice place to sit and relax from all the activities.
Jenna's place was perfect it was comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. It was very clean which I liked. I also thought it was great how Jenna provides everything you might need during your stay which was really cool. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt it ok to walk during the day and night. We just all kept a look out as we were walking, but nothing to worry about. Staying here gave our group a feel of what it's like to live there in New Orleans. I would highly recommend this place.
Such an awesome space and location. Truly this space made our visit to NOLA. We felt safe walking everywhere. The house is one of the best ABNBs I've ever stayed at. We didn't want to leave! Guy won't regret booking this space!
This airbnb was the perfect place for us to stay for our girl's trip to NOLA! Perfect location, very clean, also felt very safe. Jenna was wonderful to contact and also gave fantastic recommendations! I would definitely stay here again.
The house was pretty much as listed. We only expected three beds, but found out at the last minute that there were going to be four, which was perfect because our party had four people. Jenna left very specific instructions for obtaining the key, using the heating system, engaging the shower, etc. which we found really helpful. We did not get to meet Jenna personally, but she gave us a lot of cool ideas of where to go (beyond Bourbon Street). Overall, the stay was really comfortable and the size of the house was never an issue.
We had a tiny small problem with the noise level since the house is so close to a school. During after school hours, there were a lot of students around. Other than that, it was fine.
This house was incredible! Very nice neighborhood and it seemed to be pretty centrally located to anything that we wanted to go do/see. We felt very safe walking home late at night. The house was very clean and well maintained and the new installation of the murphy bed was a huge plus!
Jenna welcomed us a week or so before our trip to NOLA with clear and detailed instructions on how to access the space, grab the keys, and set up the apartment. She was easily accessible over text and always replied within minutes. Even though we didn't get to meet Jenna in person, she always seemed polite and friendly over email and text. I think the way she set up the keys and everything was pretty smart! It made us feel secure to have two or three locked doors, and it also guaranteed our privacy.
The space itself was perfect for four twenty-something girls traveling to NOLA for the first time. We were close enough to the French Quarter to walk there and back every single day, but far away enough to be distanced from the craziness of Bourbon Street. The space was so colorful and festive, and exactly how it appears in pictures. We all appreciated the ton of shelving space, because it made it easier to keep track of everyone's things. It was also easy to explain to cab drivers where the place was located because it's so close to Louis Armstrong park, and because the colorful unit stands out.
Every single one of us enjoyed the space itself a lot! The only qualm we had was that we didn't feel very comfortable walking around the area at night. We were able to get a cabbie's personal number so that we could have him on hand when we needed to go out at night. Otherwise, walking around during the day time was perfectly fine. For the price and location, I would definitely book again!
Jenna's place was the perfect spot for our quick trip to New Orleans. Her place is a five minute walk to the French quarter and close by to some awesome neighborhood bars with live music. The house was very clean and could have easily fit another couple. There's no tv or wifi but there is a coffee shop right next door and really if you're in Nola there's no need to waste time sitting around anyways. Great place and we would definitely stay there again.
Jenna's house was so super cute and in the best location! located next to a delightful coffee house with amazing sandwiches and only a short walk to the french quarter! The bed was very comfortable and there are speakers hooked up all over the house so you can enjoy music anywhere in the house and even in the courtyard outside! Beautiful place, I would definitely stay there again!
Beautiful house! Jenna made us extremely welcome and helped out with great neighborhood instructions. We missed the optional perk of WiFi, but the cafe next door had it. The neighborhood offered a more quiet experience than staying right in the heart of things, but was easily accessible by foot to lots of cool stuff.
