Gozo is beautiful and the apartment is centrally located to explore the island with the bus stop just down the road. Local shops and restaurants are also a walk away. The apartment is very comfortable and has water views to Malta and the town square. Rose gave us a very friendly greeting & kindly met us at the ferry terminal then drove us to the penthouse & provided a brief local tour along the way which was greatly appreciated.
My wife and I lived in Lino’s apartment for a month and loved every minute of it. The apartment is spacious, bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It has many homely touches: little figurines are dotted around the rooms and first-aid kit, sewing box, hair-drier & sun chairs are also provided. There is an abundant supply of crockery and cutlery, a TV and Wi-Fi.
Lino met us at the ferry, although we were late arriving and he had to leave a dinner party, and drove us to the apartment. On the journey, he indicated restaurants that we might enjoy (we did!) and the location of the ATM. Thanks!
The apartment is located in a quiet, clean, refined residential area, within a few minutes walk from the square and its cafes and bars (and markets on Wednesdays). Step outside the penthouse apartment and you have beautiful views, over the rooftops, of the church, other towns and the surrounding sea. We enjoyed breakfast outside, each morning, watching the sun rise behind the church tower, and many evenings sunning ourselves there until sundown. There are a few bakeries in the town of Nadur with Maxokk’s and Mekren’s being our favourites for ftiras. There is a supermarket – The Highlander – on the same street as the apartment: it is a family run shop with a huge array of products. Two bus routes can be accessed from the bottom of a nearby street and another two from another street. An all-day ticket costs E1.50 so you can tour the whole island, hopping on and off busses at will.
There are three beaches close by, Ramla, San Blas and Dahlet Qorrot (we walked to the latter two beaches which have steep descents/ascents).
We had a wonderful time in Nadur, and if you stay at Lino’s we know you will too. Thanks Lino, Rose & family.
Assolutamente raccomandato!
Lino was very helpful and available on hand for any questions we had. The apartment was perfect, beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable in a quiet neighbourhood with stunning views from the balcony. The village had all the amenities that you would need within a short walking distance, including an exceptionally good pizzeria. Bus stops around the corner. We would highly recommend staying in Lino's apartment. It was exceptionally good value for money. Liz and Ged
We had a wonderful stay at Lino's place. The apartment was luxurious for us with everything you need and a fantastic view of Nadur and the sea from the terrace. Lino was more than helpful and told us good places to eat or to visit.
Don't forget to try Mekren's bakery on the road to Ramla Bay, delicious!
This is a GREAT place to stay. The apartment is super clean; it's a penthouse with a view over the town and a spacious terrace on both sides. There's an elevator which was nice and the lack of AC was not a problem at all since the apartment keeps fairly chill during the day and Malta's hot weather cools down at night. You don't get the sense that you are living in someone else's home since the apartment is more or less only used for rental. The neighborhood is really safe! The island of Gozo in general is very quiet and calm (some might think too quiet) but we liked it a lot. It was like being in a parallel world where time stood still. And the beaches are really, really good! (Look up Ramla Beach!). This apartment is fairly close to the ferry so you can easily go to Malta's main island (25 euros for a car with two people) but we liked the island of Gozo so much that we only went twice. When we first got the apartment the owner Lino took us around town to show us where to do groceries and dine etc. We had a perfect vacation in Malta and staying in this apartment was a big part of it. Highly recommended!
Lino is an outstanding host and extremely hospitable. He picked us up, showed us around town and was available for any questions we had during our stay.
The Penthouse is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of Gozo in all directions. It was impeccably clean and very well equipped.
I would like to add that there are 3 buses less than 3 minutes walk from the penthouse which makes it extremely convenient. The nearest beach is walkable and absolutely stunning.
I cannot recommend the penthouse enough. Thank you Lino, you are the man, we had a perfect stay.
Our stay in Gozo was made very comfortable by this great apartment. Lino is a great host and he helped us with ferry and bus times as well as collecting and dropping us off at the ferry port. He is very friendly and helpful.
The apartment is clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The location is good for exploring. There are bus stops nearby and it is a short walk to find cafés, pizzerias, newsagents, bakeries, and supermarkets. Ramla Bay is also very accessible from here and well worth a visit.
We really loved our stay.
We had wonderful time staying at Lino's beautiful penthouse.
The place was spotless clean and had everything we needed to
make our stay comfortable. Lino is a wonderful host who was
always available if we needed anything, and was kind enough to
pick us up at the harbour when we arrived in Gozo and gave us
a ride back.
We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the town of Nadur and the
sea from the balcony. The penthouse itself is situated in a convenient
spot with lots of bus stops nearby and a supermarket just down
We highly recommend Lino's place and would love to stay there
again next time.
My wee family and I had a lovely time staying at Lino's flat. He was delightful and the flat was super homey. It is in a great central location for exploring Gozo on foot as you can walk to many villages and beaches from there and walk back or bus back for a nice day trip. There is also an amazingly well stocked grocer across the street - better selection there than in Malta! At night you get an amazing view of the lit up cathedral out the kitchen window/terrace :)
nice people ! They were so nice, friendly and considerate. We wish them all the best and hope they will be able to come again !
Carmel Manilleri or Lino as we knew him, was a great guest. He and his wife kept the place clean, were considerate of others in the household, and were pleasant to speak with. They spent most of their time out of the apartment, seeing the sights but it was enjoyable to have them as guests. I would recommend as guests to anyone.
