Susanna is a wonderful host, and helpful in a non-intrusive way. The location next to Termini is perfect for the business traveler who is tired of generic hotels, and all amenities are of high quality. Susanna's flat is spacious and nice, and she goes out of her way to make the stay easy and comfortable.
Grazie mille, Susanna!
We had a very pleasant stay in Rome at Susannas. Thanks. Maria & David
We enjoyed a lot with our staying in Susanna's place! The apartment is cozy, you have everything you need there. Susanna is a perfect host- she met us on the train station and came to fix heating for us. Thank you very much, Susanna!
Susanna's place was great. The experience felt more like a close relative opening up their doors to us than a usual rental. We stayed during christmas and she put up some decorations and a small tree and even left us a nice welcome gift and card. The location is close to transportation and just up the hill from the Colosseum. You can get to most places for about 10.00 Euro (what we paid to the Vatican, probably the furthest tourist location). There is a super market one block away that is extremely convenient and has most of what you may need.
One reviewer said the neighborhood seemed seedy and he felt nervous. I will assure you that I never felt that way. In fact, it is only a block away from a five star hotel of a major chain. The streets look older because it is an ancient city and the neighborhood is multi-ethnic, which gives it a cool vibe. I never felt uncomfortable in any of the capital city neighborhoods...which something than I cannot say about my own capital city - Washington D.C.
Susanna's apartment was a pretty and cozy haven for the 4 of us! There was a double bed in the room and another double bed in the living room with ample space for us to open up our big luggages too. Sus also left food for us (coffee, butter, jam, bread, jucies, etc.) in the kitchen and fridge. The apartment is within Chinatown and there is a supermarket nearby.Thank you Sus for hosting us!
We loved staying here and were made to feel absolutely welcome by our wonderful host Susanna who took the time to meet us at Termini and escort us to the apartment. The apartment is her home and it feels like it. Well decorated, well appointed with everything you need in a pied a terre in this wonderful city. Susanna even stocks the fridge with juice, butter, condiments and leaves you breakfast items. We liked the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook saving us some $$$'s and Susanna was most helpful in advising us where to dine, with plenty of options nearby. Metro is close if you need it. We walked to the Colosseum and Palatine and really all you need in Rome is a good set of shoes as from here you can get to everything, and back to the airport or outlet centres from Termini. We've noted some comments about personal safety. I must say, we did not feel unsafe here and one must exercise common sense everywhere and one is as likely to get robbed by the world class pickpockets in Spagna as near the Termini, so as a family we were very happy with the apartment and the area. My daughter's comment about the place says it all..."hey dad this place is really NICE". Al prossimo Susanna Famiglia Marizza Melbourne Australia.
We love the apartment. It's very well located. Right behind the end of termini station. The apartment had all that we needed.. Metro station is only 2 blocks away and there is the market and supermarket just across the road. The surrounding is rather busy and safe. I'll definitely stay there again if I were to visit Rome again.
Che bella! This apartment is buonissimo!! Susanna, besides having a great name, is an excellent hostess who thinks of everything to make your stay the best it can be. She greeted us warmly at the train station and we made the walk to her house from there. The neighborhood is definitely the China town of Rome, but it never felt unsafe. Susanna has lived in Rome her whole life and has very good tips about how to best see the city and to stay safe. She left us plenty of breakfast treats and toiletries, which was wonderful. We didn't get a chance to go to the market nearby, but my friends who live in the city say it's great. We were able to have them over to the apartment and made a wonderful Italian dinner in the very well equipped kitchen! If you're looking for a home away from home in Rome, this is it! :-) Grazie mille Susanna!
The apartment was wonderful and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place.
Susanna is very nice, I'm so happy so could make it to my apartment! You are welcome any time.
Susanna and Gianfranco were great! They were very kind, courteous, easy to communicate with, and kept the apartment very neat. I would definitely recommend them to other hosts!
Susanna was terrific! I was so lucky having her in my place in Lisbon. She is very funny, talkative and so respectful of everything, as she treated my house as if it was hers. A five-star guest!!! See you soon in Rome, Susanna!
My dear Susanna, endless thank you to you for willing to wait for us at the Termini Station even though we were late and willing to come over to collect the house keys at wee hour, 415am. Susanna is very helpful and very thoughtful, she has recommended few places for our convenience, all are within walking distance! Her apartment is lovely, well organized, we truly enjoyed our stay in Roma. highly recommend !!
Everything was great about the apartment from the moment I walked in. Wide and comfortable rooms, really quiet but at the same time located a short distance from all the sights, its a perfect location for checking the area out. Cozy as a five-stars hotel but definitely cheaper! I am going to stay here again, no doubt!
