Wanlin, I am disappointed about your feedback. We offered you a very very special rate and made everything possible to make you feel comfortable although your requests were ridiculous and you were always yelling at us - we made everything possible. I even gave you a nice feedback.
For all my guests in the future:
The apartment is new and on the market since 3 months. It is no where written that the apartment is in a brand new building, but a normal residential building with a secure entrance, safety guards and 2 nice and reliable lifts.
All furniture and amenities are brand new and far away from cheap or used. Maybe the furniture was not to Wanlin's taste as he is Chinese and the apartment is set up in modern Western style with danish designer chairs, etc, - it is more than unfair to lie, especially on airbnb.
The bed linen is 90% cotton and 10% mixed with a soft silky touch - our guest even want to order the bed linen because of the nice feeling. You will never sweat in summer (which would happen with Polyester) and during cooler temperatures we offer additional blankets. 10 months are more or less warm in Taipei. Another wild guess from Wanlin....
The location is not only convenient - its the best location where you can stay for such a reasonable rate for a family of 7 or 8 guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with china, glasses, kettle, microwave, pots, pans. cutlery, fridge, freezer, stove.. and your welcome package was nicely set up with water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and snacks. I'd rather find a welcome package in any 5 star Hotel.
The photos are taken by an airbnb photographer and there is no reason at all to mislead guests - just to receive complaints?
If you want to do yourself a favour - do not accept Wanlin as guest.
Jenny arrived as a group of 9 girls although she was booked as a group of 6.
It was quite stressful to set up 3 more beds and during that time the girls were pushing us very hard and complained while already drinking wine as they wanted to celebrate a birthday. 1 guest manager managed the bedding whereas the other guest manger provided whatever they asked for although it was unreasonable.
Taipei homes just DO HAVE this kind of bathrooms - please cope with local amenities. I would not complain about incredibly small apartments in HK as it is a local matter.
We did not ask for more money although Jenny was unfair not having advised the correct number of guests coming. We would not have accepted a group of 9.
The apartment is immaculate clean and the pictures are made by an airbnb photographer. We would not have any advantage by providing incorrect photos but would only receive complaints.
Out of courtesy we did not feedback Jenny and did not ask for a fee for additional guests and I am disappointed that she is such an unreasonable person.
