Our experience at "The Den" was wonderful. The place was clean and comfortable, and Jeremy gave great directions for finding it. I would recommend his eco-suite to my friends 10/10. Awesome weekend excursion overall!
I thoroughly enjoyed The Den! What a wonderful spot!! Jeremy wanted to make sure I was comfortable & was just as accommodating as he could possibly be. It was a private area with a very cool bathroom & comfy bed.
So much better than a cold, boring hotel room. He made my 1st experience with airbnb perfect. I will definitely travel this way in the future. Couldn't have asked for a better spot.
Jeremy's place is a cool clean private and convenient place to stay. The patio faces a mostly wooded area that is so relaxing to look at. The space is a nice size, with a very nice bathroom. My only complaint is the size of the bed, which for smaller people or 1 person, would not be a issue.
Jeremy was absolutely fantastic. We drove from Raleigh and had some last-minute changes to our ETA, so he made sure to have everything in order and set up for us to arrive without a hitch. The room was perfect for what we needed--spacious, clean, comfortable, and homey--and the bathroom was particularly nice. I highly recommend The Den as your next base of operations for any Asheville trip.
The Den was perfect for what we were looking for--secluded and peaceful, yet convenient to all things Asheville. The bed and accommodations were very comfortable, and the bathroom was especially nice. I highly recommend The Den for a couples getaway to the mountains.
My wife and I had a great time visiting Asheville. Big thank you to Jeremy for accepting us into his home. It was my first airbnb experience and I look forward to many more.
The Den was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Much more appealing than a hotel. Jeremy's home was in a nice wooded and private area so it was very peaceful and relaxing.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks again Jeremy! It was great meeting you!
I was here with my boyfriend for a long weekend. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfy. The shower was great and although we were not able to use the hot tub it looked very welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty. It's close enough to everything in Asheville and there is a bus close by but that didn't seem too convenient for us to use. We didn't meet Jeremy in person bc he was also traveling but he was very easy to communicate with, and is a kind, genuine, fair, and interesting person! Would recommend anyone to stay there. Also, no kitchen use is available but so many good restaurants in Asheville it wasn't a big deal. Hope to come back to Asheville again some day :)
Such a gorgeous home and nice host!
Everything was great. He even helped me out when I got myself in a little ditch. There are no hills in Chicago!! :)
My girlfriend and I had a great time staying in Jeremy's Den for New Year's Eve and New Year's day. We unfortunately did not get to meet Jeremy as he was not around, but I did speak with him on the phone. Jeremy was accommodating. He gave us all the information we needed to have a pleasant stay. The room was exactly as advertised. Towels were waiting for us when we arrived as well as a note with basic, pertinent information.
The Den is located in a cool neighborhood in West Asheville and Jeremy's place is one of four or five log cabins all together on a cozy street. The bedroom is nice and the hard mattress on a slab on the floor is actually really comfortable. The shower is very nice with two shower heads, water was hot and there is a heater on the wall. The shower was a great perk. We also used the hot tub which was another great perk. Jeremy asked us to take a shower before getting in the hot tub and we were only too happy to comply. Another great perk on New Year's night.
There isn't much else to say about the Den. It's exactly as advertised. If I had to give any advice to other travelers it would be to make sure you know exactly where Jeremy is located (it's in West Asheville like a ten or fifteen minute ride to downtown.) If you want to get a cab to downtown and potentially back late at night, it did prove difficult, but it was also New Year's Eve, so I can't speak to what it would be like on a normal night. Also, there is a very nice Smart TV downstairs, but there is no cable, so the idea of catching sports or live events would only be possible if you could sync a device to the TV. These matters were small and meaningless as far as our trip was concerned. I was wholly satisfied with this experience.
Jeremy and his group were a pleasure to have stay here
Jeremy an his group were a very good guest. We didn't have any problems with them.
Jeremy came in for a last minute stay and I have nothing but good things to say about he and his friends. He was friendly, and very easy to accommodate. Before, during and after his stay the communication was great and I should definitely book with him again. He is exactly what you want to find in an airbnb renter, and why this site is a great place to look for trips out of town!
Jeremy and friends are always a pleasure to come stay at O'Sheas my Dad Patrick was the host as I was away in Tralee for a few days, hope Jeremy & co enjoyed using the front room for tai chi and sorry I wasn't around to some yoga with them :(
Couldn't have wished for a better first guest in our house in Connemara. Jeremy and his friends were a pleasure to have as visitors, were great to chat to and organize the stay with a brilliant sense of direction as a plus :)
A great group of people, hope ye enjoyed Leitrim in the West of Ireland.
Thank You For staying
Jeremy and friends a lovely group and a pleasure to have them staying with us pity the stay was so short Delighted they enjoyed the food in The Moorings next door.
Jeremy was a great guest. He communicated his needs and schedule well. He was great with our kids and was respectful of us and our home. You would benefit from having him stay with you! I am only sorry that we didn't get to hear more about his world adventures. God bless, Jeremy.
it was a pleasure to host jeremy as he was relaxed and friendly.
he appreciated the lovely surroundings, the natural environment and my garden.
Jeremy and his friends were a pleasure to have stay n our bnb they enjoyed the local stone forts, castle and Killarney national park I'm sorry I didn't get to do a hatha yoga class with the guys as planned for the morning of departure, as the house got busy with guests and my Dad was away. The guys are very friendly, entertaining and easy to cater for. hope they enjoyed our hens eggs :)
