We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, attractive and quiet room. Penny is lovely and was helpful in providing local knowledge and maps. The kitchen is basic, applications are electrical which are adequate for reheating but limited for cooking. We recommend the room and will hopefully return
What a truly lovely 2 days we have just had in Penny's amazing loft. Please please can we go again soon? The attic is amazing, comfortable, spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. We even managed to cook pancakes on Shrove Tuesday! Penny was so helpful, even saving us a car parking spot! And she rushed back to sort out a key problem and wasn't in the slightest put out when it turned out to be entirely my fault! Thanks for making our time away so special. Would highly recommend it to anyone
Penny was on hand within 5 minutes of us arriving to welcome us, and explained everything for us - with a welcome gift. It's a beautifully appointed place, really stylish - and well situated, 100 yards from a restaurant (Abdul's - excellent) & the Co-op supermarket. Lovely & warm too - and quiet!
Kitchen area had enough equipment for a few days (microwave, kettle, toaster, tabletop hob & tabletop oven/grill) , and the bathroom was good - nice shower. Wifi was fine.
Nice bed, and the TV sound system was fun. Lots of steps up to the apartment but that didn't bother us.
Had a great time staying in penny's apartment. Extremely clean, light and beautifully decorated. Everything that we could possibly need was provided to make the stay really comfortable. Penny was a great host very friendly and helpful and excellent communication. Will be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area.
Penny’s apartment in Cardigan was really cosy, comfortable and conveniently placed for visiting Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.
Penny made us feel very welcome when she met us at the apartment and gave us lots of tips and ideas about what to do in the local area. We would definitely go back and stay.
Penny was a great host and owns a lovely, cosy flat in the centre of Cardigan. Having not stayed in Cardigan before it was great that Penny spent time explaining all the great things to see and do in the region. The apartment had everything we needed and more, because it was so beautifully decorated with a real artistic eye. We would definitely go back and stay!
The apartment is lovely - very well laid out and perfect for two people. It has everything you might need to cook and is also 2 minutes from a shop and takeaway if you're feeling lazy. Penny was an excellent host. She was there when we arrived and gave us lots of tips about what to do in the area. The OS maps provided were also extremely useful.
An absolutely beautiful studio apartment - we loved the location, the decor, the super comfy bed, and the practical kitchen space, too. It was lovely to be right at the top of the building and feel secluded and private, but so close to the town and the quay side as well. Thank you so much!
I have never experienced a host going so far above and beyond. Penny is a hospitality saint. Not only did she make up a cozy little bed for my daughter next to mine, but she invited us for home made pizzas at her own home and let my little girl play with her cats and cuddle with her guinea pig Bruce. Totally above and beyond. And oh, the flat itself is spectacular and comfy with lots of character. This is a wonderful home base from which to explore the whole southwest of Wales. I particularly recommend the hike from Moylgrove to the Witch's Cauldron, a collapsed seaside cavern. We med some local seals here and enjoyed the waterfall.
We had a lovely stay for a few nights in Penny's apartment. Beautifully appointed and kitted out... A gem of a find!
I first met Penny through my wife Trina ,They have known each other since school, and we consider her a great friend. We always visit whilst in Pembrokeshire and are amazed, but not suprised with her enthusiasm for the Quay st project .She has an ability to overcome problems that would defeat most.
We have stayed in the appartment twice and love it. Penny has a flair for interiors turning this 18c room into a modern space whilst keeping a sense of the old.Penny doesn't faff around people, staying at Quay street is a very relaxed place to be, don't expect to bump in to her on the stairs, she is a call away when needed but this is your holiday/break so don't tiptoe around as if your in someone elses house.
I am pleased to be Pennys fruit tree consultant and although she only has one it is huge On one of our stays I was to prune the tree ,I have to say it was a bit scarry .I did what I could and showed her 'leave the ladder there and I'll go up and finish it 'she said without the slightest critisism.Needless to say I went back up the tree to finish off,so when you stay judge for your selves!
