I am a working artist living in Portland, Oregon. I work and teach painting classes in my studio behind my house. A transplant from the New York area for 29 years, I've been watching Portland grow up from every quadrant; Southeast, Northeast, Southwest and Northwest. I will never get used to being seven minutes from the woods of Forest Park or 90 minutes from the ocean, desert and Mt. Hood. I enjoy food, making art, music, wine, time with friends, hiking, yoga, writing and my pets.
I love living in Portland. Mine is a lifestyle of having a warm, comfy art filled house, making good food and being surrounded by the warmth and energy of all who pass through here. I dwell lightly and quietly in general and as a guest. I'm an early riser, not loud and respect people's space. As a traveler, I'm efficient and good at navigating myself and I plan loosely to allow for spontaneity. As a host I get to have fun sharing stories and suggesting places for my guests to go in Portland.
