Canadian living all over the place and renting out our treasured paradise in the meanwhile. Mother of 2.
Thanks to the driving instructions received it was very easy to find the house. A tip for other travellers, we experienced that driving times around Toronto cannot be planned with (website hidden)Maps, traffic around Toronto can be terrible and takes a lot longer than expected.
The house is located awesome at the lake and especially two canoes are available. Whatever is needed can be found in the house and facilities are as descibed. Especially a fire place is available in the house which is a great. We had terrible weather and that made our day. Even if there is nothing to do outside, it is easy to have an excellent day just in the house.
Thanks for that, we would gladly come back again.
Response from Alison:
Sorry you had bad weather but glad you still enjoyed the comforts of the home indoors!
Alison is a wonderful host - creative and thorough - and you can bet that you'll find everything you need at her gorgeous lakeside home. I've stayed there many times myself and it is simply fabulous: full of interesting art, great books for browsing, and every kind of cooking utensil you might need to whip up a yummy meal. Alison herself is the kind of curious, adaptable, communicative person that makes travelling or staying with her fun and easy.
