I had a great stay at Anndrea's cottage. The location is absolutely gorgeous, especially the pool and garden area. Loved being in Malibu and away from LA. It is so quiet and peaceful there at night too. I would highly recommend checking out El Matador and Corral Canyon. Anndrea was a kind and gracious host! Thanks again! :)
This is a lovely place to stay! The hot tub has a great view of the ocean and equally great view of the stars once the sun goes down! The pool and hot tub is shared with other guests, but almost a completely private setup - perfect for a romantic couples weekend.
Don't think too hard about whether or not to stay at Anndrea's lovely place - just do it! We had the most delightful two night stay in the hills of Malibu. Cozy cottage, hot tub, minutes from surfing at the beach. We hope to be back before too long!
Stay was great, from the hospitality to the beautiful cottage. I would love to stay again and suggest it for any couple.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience here this weekend .. The property was beautiful .. Just the perfect balance of nature and beach life.. The cottage was very cute and has all the little extras u need.. Andrea was sooo sweet.. Answered all questions we had about the location and was always there if we needed her.. Perfect private little location.. Wonderful experience .. Will be back again for sure
Anndrea's place was amazing. The cottage had everything you could have asked for, a beautiful garden, the pool and the view over Zuma Beach, our favorite place to be around LA. Anndrea is a great host, very helpful and warmhearted. We can't wait to come back again!
This was my 1st time booking a trip using Airbnb, and it could not have gone anymore perfect! Even from just our Airbnb correspondence, Anndrea made me feel very welcomed to her lovely cottage answering my numerous questions regarding the cottage, amenities, and activities around the area. She was even more sweet, warm, and welcoming in person from the second we arrived to the moment we left (even providing us info on a great little healthy food store).
The cottage itself is located on a beautiful piece of property in the hills of Malibu right above Zuma beach. The cottage is adorable and cozy and provided just about everything we needed for the weekend (including beach towels). The property has cute little vegetable gardens, plenty of benches to enjoy the views and sunlight, and a fantastic bbq placed strategically for grilling while looking out towards the ocean. The pool and jacuzzi were to die for, and we fell asleep the first night listening to the soothing sounds of the waterfall into the pool. We took advantage of the jacuzzi with a relaxing dip under the stars (though FYI the jacuzzi takes about 30 minutes to heat up, but very much worth the wait). Also, just down the road past the driveway is an area with a fantastic view!
All in all I'd highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you again Anndrea! We look forward to returning and further exploring Malibu.
Anndrea is a sweet, gracious host. We arrived in a downpour, but all was prepared for us. She greeted us and made sure we were comfortable in spite of the fact that she was dealing with rain in her own home. The pool house was warm (Anndrea provided a space heater) during the cool, rainy days. The hot tub was enjoyable, unfortunately the weather was to cool to swim in the pool. We had a little trouble with the shower drain but Anndrea was very helpful resolving that issue, which was probably due to the rain.
This was a little slice of paradise in Malibu -- the hot tub was to die for and even though we were there in February, we took a dip in the pool! You'll enjoy it. Also we appreciated Anndrea's suggestion to check out El Matador Beach.
The cottage is well maintained and surrounded by lush gardens and a pool, it's a beautiful setting. Anndrea was there to meet me and responded immediately to any questions I had. I will definately be going back
