Lovely stay with Kate, first air b&b experience. Was there visiting friends so wasn't in much to get to know Kate but value for money was amazing!
I stayed in Kate's home for two nights while working in Newcastle University. Kate is really welcoming and helpful and my stay was very comfortable. Everything was as described, lots of parking outside, and Kate gave me directions for a lovely 20 minute walk into the university. It's a nice quiet and safe street with easy access into and out of the city. Would really recommend and I'm planning to stay again soon!
I could only arrive late Saturday night and Kate was very accomodating about waiting up for me to arrive. The house and room were lovely, clean and tidy and she was very friendly. I slept amazingly well in the comfortable bed and she left a brief note about things in the area and some very reasonable 'dos and donts' for my stay. I would reommend staying with Kate to anyone and I thoroughly enjoyed by stay in Newcastle. A hidden gem to the rest of the UK!
Kate was very friendly and accommodating.
Kate's place is in a residential area close to the centre, which you can walk to (25min) or take a bus (15min). The room was nice and tidy, and there was plenty of space for us to leave our things. It was the perfect place to stay for a weekend visit to Newcastle!
I had a very pleasant time staying here. The house was very clean comfortable and nicely decorated throughout. Kate was very welcoming and helpfully had printed out a few bits about the house and a map of the area. There's a lovely Indian restaurant just around the corner. It was a bit chilly though, so do bring a jumper. Also there isn't any internet available, although I was in the middle of a good book so didn't miss it. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
I had a lovely stay in Kate's house. Everywhere was nice and clean and she was very welcoming. I did find it difficult having no internet as I was in Newcastle for a course and stayed in this house for 2 weeks, but I think this is mentioned on the listing so that part is my fault! I was able to cook which was perfect.
A lovely room in a very clean and well kept house, a short walk to the university and with transport links into town. I had full use of the bathroom and kitchen which was well equipped and has everything you would need. The house was quite chilly for the first few weeks that I stayed there but once the heating was on it was lovely and toasty. Note there is no internet access - This was a slight problem for me only because I was staying in the house for 6 weeks. Kate was a lovely host. Thanks!
The house was super clean and Kate was friendly and very helpful. She gave us a map and advised us about a local restaurant, which was very welcome after a long drive.
The house is close enough to the city centre to be able to stroll back and forth, but not so close as to be noisy.
A lovely room in a lovely house. Kate was a great host and gave me some top advice for my house hunt! About a 15/20min walk into town and all downhill. Also some great takeaways in the area!
