The house is gorgeous and very comfortable and a big group or family would have plenty of space. However, it's about a half-mile of dirt road to the beach. it's a perfectly safe and straightforward walk, but if there's anyone in your group who won't like walking through the business-end of a Mexican village, you won't be happy. Also, the road to the village turns into a half-mile of mud puddle in the rainy season.
The house was as promised. Clean and well outfitted. (Softest toilet paper EVER!- where do you get that stuff?)
The house sits about 15 mins walk from town square in an area of local homes. Tons of roosters and dogs playing and frolicking. It is well insulated from the street with a wall around. The pool is small but refreshing. The AC works well to cool and grey out the street noise.
This was a great house for my guests to stay at for my wedding in Sayulita. It is a fairly new house and we had no problems. There was also a baby staying with the party and Casa Febrero was fine for this.
The house in Sayulita was as advertised. It was extremely spacious with ample storage and stocked with everything you would need for an extended stay. The privacy can't be beat and It was nice being out of the central area, but still close enough to walk into town. It does get to be a pretty dark walk in some places during the later hours, so I would recommend bringing a flashlight. The pool was nice and cool and the caretaker Patricia was super accommodating, even giving me a ride back to town to catch a cab after checkout.
This house is amazing! The caretaker Patricia was accommodating about when and where to meet her. She gave us a tour and let us know everything we needed, and Zach has also provided a binder filled with info about the house and town. Patricia checked in with us a few times via email making sure we had everything we needed.
The house was exactly as we expected, and the pool surpassed! All the rooms were very big with lots of storage. We were 3 couples, and an extra friend ended up tagging along at the last moment, and the house had an air mattress to accommodate him. There was plenty of room for us all. The neighbourhood is authentic, and the people extremely friendly. Just down the road there is an amazing restaurant called Don Juans and next to that is a small store. So just incase you are having a pool day and run out of cervezas it is a mere hop skip and a jump. The kitchen was perfect, having all the essentials that you need, but don't want to buy lots of (salt, pepper, oil). The walk into town is easy and direct. When checking out Patricia was once again super accommodating, and made everything just as easy as checking in! We frequent Sayulita and would definitely stay here again.
Casa Febrero was a great place to land in Sayulita. It's in a sweet Mexican residential area a bit away from the tourism which was refreshing. I was there with my brother and nieces (5 and 8) who absolutely loved the pool and it made all the difference to have a place to call home for the week. Zack and the caretaker Harvey were both very responsive with any questions or needs.
Zach's house is great!!
We had 3 couples stay at the house and it never felt crowded. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed to make coffee and prepare snacks.
Sayulita is a dream in general and it was great to come home to Casa Febrero. The house is a bit of a walk to the beach, so if you're wanting to rent a surfboard for an entire week, you might consider renting a golf cart in town. We would love to stay again!
Thanks so much!

Very lovely place, nice comfy furniture and it stays very cool during the hot days. It was great to have a private yard and pool. The location was a little far from the beach so I recommend you rent a bike or four wheel drive golf cart from town. (road to the house is really rough! Like many roads in Sayulita)
Zach's house is wonderful and well furnished, we had a great stay.
It was amazing to get our mangos from the trees just next to the house in the morning! We had someone to accommodate our needs and answer our questions through the hole week in sayulita. I recommand this house to everybody and would be delighted to stay there again.
Really lovely and very nice family to have as guests in the house.
Communication with Zach was always clear and easy and they cared very well for my house. I absolutely recommend Zach to other hosts.
Zach and his family are a really nice family, the two daughters are so cute.
They stay for a short period, but enough to understand that they are great guests.
Zach, his wife and their two daughters were very good and friendly guests. They stayed for several days and left the apartment very tidy. I really recommend them. Thank you for your stay!
Very nice family, who arrived promptly following their flight. Easy to communicate with, and didn't mind that I had to come and collect a key I had forgotten. Zach and his family left the apartment nice and tidy too.
