Here's a little bit about our group. We are a group of really close friends, that is traveling together - mid to late 20's (four men and four women, three are couples and a single guy and gal). We are happy to share rooms and space - whatever is easiest and most cost effective. If possible the singles would prefer to sleep alone, but if not, we can make arrangements. As far as our plans go, we are planning on going to the Cubs/Reds game on Friday, May 3rd, but other than that we have no set plans. In our conversations, the following activities have come up: Museum of Science and Technology, Millennium Park, Lincoln Park, Art Museum, and Willis Tower. We tend to prefer food and experiences unique to the city we are visiting, so would be open to any suggestions that you have about things we shouldn't miss. The initial thought for taking this trip is to get together and do something fun as a group before I move out to California for my new job. I have just graduated medical school and will be starting my residency. It is total leisure and just a quick vacation. I found out about AirBnB by word of mouth from a couple different people, my brother included. We were drawn to the location of your home and the knowledge that you could provide. The ample space for 8 of us, along with the possibility of cooking and storing some food from a grocery close-by. The decks look great and the lounge space looks fantastic as well. Our hope for this trip is not to feel like tourists and also to see Chicago as economically as possible. Our group is a mix of those who come to Chicago at least once a year, while one of our group members will be coming to Chicago for the first time, and everything in between. We're all really looking forward to the trip and hope it works out to stay at your place. Please just let us know if you need anything else and what your asking price is. Thanks so much. Looking forward to hearing from you.
