Mariana was a perfect host to us. She gave excellent advise on restaurants, places to visit and safety issues whilst we stayed in Bogota. She even kindly allowed us to store luggage with her whilst we travelled around South America.
Her apartment is superb with its own private bathroom which is always a plus.
Thank you Mariana for a perfect stay.
Enjoyed really my stay with Mariana. She keeps the place spotless and tidy, it's full of creative energy -- and it's in a great location in the center of town. Hope to return!
We had a great stay at Mariana's apartment. She provided us with a map of Bogota and gave us very helpful advise on safety in the city. Her apartment was lovely very airy and spacious. Mariana even kindly allowed us to leave some luggage with her whilst we travelled around South America.
This is a beautiful apartment and the room is large and comfortable. The flowers and sweets in the bedroom were a nice touch. I only stayed 2 nights and unfortunately did not see much of Mariana as she was working, however she seemed very pleasant. The location is convenient for transport into the city though felt a bit edgy at night.
Mariana's house was perfect. It is located in a lovely party of Chapinero with parks, grocery stores, restuarants, and public transportation all within walking distance. The home and room are beautiful; exactly as shown in the photos. Mariana was sweet and very hospitable. I highly recommend staying with her.
Mariana's room was fantastic! Very comfortable, the WiFi nice and strong, very clean and quiet, the outdoor deck was a nice place to hang out. The location was very central (but a little on the sketchy side at night, this is Bogotá after all), but altogether Mariana, Nick and the doorman were super attentive and friendly. Thank you guys!
27 year old Mariana, her boyfriend, and roommate Nicolas and his girlfriend were all super friendly, really wonderful people. The apt is very secure, so secure that I was denied access even with a printout of the reservation. But I was able to show a picture of Mariana from my smart phone, or I would have remained on the street. Other landlords notify the guard in advance, as I heard them do so. Then Mariana had a suitcase (!) in my room, so she had to refund me one day, which was very inconvenient after the grueling flight. The room was very quiet, but the bed was so hard, I had a bruised hip from sleeping on one side all night. For the nearest coffee, I had to take a taxi for 10 minutes. There was not one table anywhere in the apt that I could see, but she gave me a chair. The counters had stools. I put alcohol on the bites from the stray cat she keeps. Is it worth 40 dollars? You tell me. And be sure and have a picture of Marisa with you to show the guard or have a hotel’s address for backup.
First of all the apartment is indeed exactly like the pictures, and I think they speak for themselves. It's big, bright and the terraza is awesome. The private room is also very big, with a really comfortable bed and mattress. Sheets are changed every week if you book a longer stay. The bathroom is also good, with an excellent shower. Overall, I lived with Mariana and Nicolas for a whole month and I felt really comfortable with them. It was really easy to keep my privacy when I need it, but they were also very welcoming when I needed company or wanted to practice my spanish. The apartment is located very closely and between two lines of the TransMilenio rapid bus system, which was very fortunate for me as I had classes in La Candelaria, in the central area, where I would arrive in less than 20 minutes. I usually took buses at Séptima since they were more comfortable compared to the buses in Caracas, the other parallel route. But they both will easily take you anywhere north and south of the city. I highly recommend Mariana's apartments to young travelers interested in living or visiting Bogotá, and I hope to come back some day.
This apartment is really special and comes thoroughly recommended. Whilst I was only able to stay for 3 nights, Mariana and Nicolas really made me feel welcome and were very helpful in giving pointers on where to go in their City. Take care guys, hope to see you soon!
We had a brilliant stay at Mariana's place. The apartment is enormous and our room was big and comfortable. We were given our own bathroom. Everywhere was very clean and there were thoughtful touches like flowers in the room.
Mariana and her flatmate Nicolas were very friendly and welcoming. They are both artistic so the apartment is decorated with interesting objects everywhere you look. The cat, Nilho, is eccentric!
One thing to mention is that the first line of the address is missing on the profile. It led to a bit of confusion and phone calls trying to find it. Actually it's very easy to find, on a main road.
Thank you Mariana for a fantastic stay - we miss Nilho already!! Xx
Mariana, it was lovely hosting you! Welcome back, any time! Wishing you a great end of summer & all the finest, Aida & Berry
Mariana is a lovely girl! She stayed at our apartment for 5 days with a friend of her. They were both very clean and tidy. If she would come to Amsterdam again I would love to have her over again! Thanks Mariana, hope you had a good time here!
Very nice! Welcome back anytime!
