A beautiful cabin on an idyllic Kent property. A comfy double room and a loft bed, and a fantastic woodburner made ours a very cosy stay. Thank you Ray for hosting us.
This is a lovely tranquil cottage. We had a perfect break and will certainly hope to stay again. Very cosy. Beautiful set up. Loved seeing all the animals outside the window.
We had a really lovely time at the cabin, it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our night away from London. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and we all enjoyed our visit to the local pub and Sunday morning walk. Ray was so helpful and friendly, and we loved the dogs! We left feeling extremely relaxed. Would definitely visit again but stay for a bit longer.
Great communication and information before we arrived so no hitches getting to the cabin or getting inside. A beautiful location with everything we needed. The cabin was clean and cosy and just as lovely as the pictures. We would definitely recommend staying here.
We had a wonderful weekend in Tunbridge Wells. The Pantiles flat is beautiful, and it was great to be so central. We had our wedding on the Saturday, so having a comfortable base while we were running around getting everything ready was perfect. Seriously comfy beds, we slept so well. Can't wait to come back soon!
Really pretty cabin in the heart of the countryside. We felt very welcome with our dog, the cabin is really well kept and very clean. For lovely walks and beautiful views the ashdown Forrest is about 20-30 mins drive away. For a really great old pub (dog friendly) the spotted dog is 10 mins down the road, they were also very friendly and the food is great.
We had a lovely time at the cabin and would definitely stay there again. The instructions given to us were easy to follow, we found the location and gained access without a problem. The cabin was clean and tidy in the main areas and has obviously been well maintained. The pan in the oven had a lot of burnt fat on it which we had to clean before using the oven and the upstairs bed appeared to be unchanged and unmade. This did not effect us as there was only two of us however may have been problematic if we were a four. The only other issue was that the hot water ran out after around 2-3 minutes resulting in one of us having to wait until the evening to shower.
The area was beautiful and the cabin is set in a lovely location. We sat outside by the pond one evening and watch the sunset. We also had a great day out at groombridge place which I would certainly recommend if visiting the area. The cabin had a stack of flyers for local attractions and we were not short of things to do. Overall a peaceful and relaxing 3 days.
Our stay at The Cabin was fantastic from start to finish.
Ray and Claire went well out of their way to answer our questions on the local area and activities. They even recommended us an excellent horse riding centre which is only 10 miles from The Cabin.
The Cabin itself is lovely, well furnished, with excellent cooking facilities.
We will be back very soon, no doubt about it!
Thanks so much for the wonderful stay.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the cabin for 2 nights to get away from London. The cabin was both modern and traditional and the open fire was great and made the cabin really cozy. I really enjoyed playing with the 2 little dogs that live on the farm, they where very friendly and happy to see us.
It's really close to Hever Castle and Tunbridge Wells so we explored the area.
All round good place to visit, we would go again.
Had a lovely stay. Friendly animals and cosy vibe. Would recommend.
