We've been living in Brooklyn since long before it was a brand and we know the ins and outs of NYC's best borough. We travel all over the world but some of our best adventures have been in our own backyard.

We spent an excellent three nights at Finola and John's apartment. Bed was extremely comfortable and bedroom was super quiet. New bathroom with walk-in shower. New appliances and lots of stuff for cooking although too many good restaurants nearby to stay in and cook. A bargain in Park Slope. We would be happy to return.
The apartment is wonderful - very clean and has everything that you need. The location is perfect. Street parking is available and it's just a few blocks to the subway. Highly highly recommend!
Wonderful apartment in a very nice neighborhood. New, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are top. We slept very well in the bedroom that is in the back. We loved sitting in the front garden on a warm evening. Lots of nice and cosy restaurants at walking distance, so is the metro and the park. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, but there is enough to do.
Finola is a charming host, easy to communicate with. She had put milk, drinks and lemon pie (!) in the fridge and there were fresh tulips and fruit to make us feel at home. We'd love to come back!
After spending our third week with Finola, I can't image staying anywhere else; it feels like a second home to us. My only fear is that my daughter will move out of Park Slope and we'll have to find somewhere else to be near her family. The apartment is bright and cheerful and Finola is a wonderful host, leaving little treats and flowers. Hope to be coming back again soon.

My brief stay at Finola's and her husband's place was just AMAZING. The place is just exactly as it is portraited: extremely neat, cozy and extra comfortable. They were extra kind to leave a pot of flowers, candies as well as coffee, tea, and milk available. The ride on the F train to and from Manhattan might seem a bit long, but it's so worth it! I didn't get to meet Finola, but her husband was really nice and welcoming when I checked in and out. Thanks a lot to both of them! I feel I have a home in NYC now ;)
The apartment was perfect for my parents' visit from the UK, and Finola and her family were wonderful hosts both in their communication before the stay, and in their actions during. The apartment is immaculate, comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home, and Finola had added some nice touches like getting a few provisions like milk and fruit and some chocolate as a welcome.
The street is lovely and well located in the heart of Park Slope. My parents are already looking forward to their next visit to this apartment in just a few weeks - a great home away from home. Thank you - we would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Finola was welcoming, gracious, and all-around wonderful to work with! From her excellent communication, to her knowledgeable suggestions and advice regarding restaurants, shops, events, and public transit, Finola was an outstanding hostess. During our stay, she was available to answer any question, while being so respectful of our privacy.
In addition to its ideal location (near Prospect Park, the 7th Ave. train, and many things delicious!), Finola's apartment was lovely - bright, beautifully decorated, immaculate, and appointed with many thoughtful touches. Her "welcome basket" of fresh fruit and locally made sweets, the vase of fresh tulips, and the assortment of local magazines, were greatly appreciated and really highlight her attention to detail.
I would highly recommend this spacious and comfortable apartment. Because of Finola, you will not only have a beautiful place to stay, but a fantastic hostess as well!
We had a fantastic weekend in this cosy little spot. The apartment is inviting and well appointed — there's a kitchen with a gas stove if you like to cook, as well as a media center and wifi if you prefer to hang out and relax. The location is right in the heart of Park Slope's many shops restaurants, so there's lots to do and the nearby F train offers easy access into Manhattan.
Our hosts were amazing. We arrived to find champagne in the fridge and a handwritten greeting card welcoming us. And although they were out of town, they checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, we loved this spot and very much look forward to returning!
Finola is a fantastic hostess; she stocked the kitchen with exactly what we needed. She also provided fresh fruit, fresh flowers (matching the curtains), and a sweet. The apartment is very clean, and includes a queen size bed. There is plenty of closet and drawer space. The bedroom is quiet, away from the street.
The apartment is conveniently located near shops and restaurants, a subway stop, and Prospect Park. We would definitely stay here again.
Finola and her family were the best guest to have at your property. They were thoughtful, considerate and extremely lovely to communicate with. We were happy that they had such an amazing experience and followed our suggestions to enjoy what the area has to offer locally. We are looking forward to meeting them again in the future. Thank you for your interest and choosing our villa for your first stay through airbnb. We welcome your return!
