First, I want to point out that John, the owner of this courtyard villa is a first class person and a superb host. John will take action to ensure that you are very happy during your stay.
The villa is a great place to dwell, as it is in fabulous location, being right on the 8th tee box of the Pimlico executive golf course. It also overlooks a small lake that is teeming with water fowl. Further it is near supermarkets, a Wal-Mart, many restaurants, and any other services or entertainment you would want. This is indeed a great place to settle for a few months. The town squares located in the Villages are a lot of fun, with nightly music and other activities.
Also, the people living in the surrounding villas were friendly and helpful to see to it that we had a nice time.
The villa is extremely nice and has every item you would ever necessitate during your stay.
To sum it up, we were extremely happy there and wish we could have stayed longer. When we have a chance to return to The Villages, staying in John's villa would be a must for us!
Loved the house, tastefully decorated ,very clean and very well equipped. The location is perfect, the view of the golf coarse and pond priceless. Easy ,quick access to lake Sumter town centre actually to all of the town centres in The villages.I use Airbnb were ever I travel now, so much nicer that a hotel. John was the perfect host , very easy to get along with. There is not one aspect of our stay that I did not like. We loved it so much we will try to book it again next year, if available....?
This was my 1st stay using airbnb.com and it was a-ma-ZING!
The correspondence between John and myself was friendly, quick, and informative. The home was extremely clean, just beautifully decorated, and the view out the back door was 1st grass, then golf course and then water.
At first I was going to be sharing the house with another guest (that I didn't know), but their plans changed. I ended up staying in the house by myself, and felt safe. I have stayed in The Villages before w/my parents, but never through airbnb.com. John even supplied me with a few breakfast items that I got to choose--for which I was very thankful for! I stayed 3 nights, and I've told all my friends & my parents' friends about this place, too!
I've been looking for an opportunity to use Airbnb and my experience with John will make me a repeat, possibly frequent, guest. The home was clean & up to date. We were welcomed from the moment I contacted John. The home had plenty of amenities and a fully stocked fridge... plus all the cable channels one could want for foul weather days. The view was amazing over the golf course and small lake. Thx John!
Could not have had a nicer stay!
Excellent stay . The best ever. The house was perfect with all the proper towels, sheets even food. A 10. Thank you so much John,Matthew.
Very comfortabel and complete house.
This is a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood in a 55+ community. The amenities in the community are amazing. This home has a great kitchen that opens into the living room. The sliding doors open to a back porch which would be lovely when the weather is cool. Great TV--lots of channels to watch. Bed was very comfortable.
JOHN IS THE BEST!!! That is really the only way to say it. 5 stars across the board. The house is incredibly clean, up to date, and very spacious. John went out of his way many times to make sure I was taken care of in every respect. Thank you John! Hope to see you again.
John and Joanne were great guests - friendly and independent. They looked after the room and left everything spotless. I would welcome them back and would recommend them to all
John and Joanne were very pleasant and punctual:) ... thanks for the moments of relaxation and conversation! See you soon
John Eisner has played several roles in my life since we met in 2006: mentor, friend, colleague, traveling partner, tennis adversary, host, and guest. He's good at all of them; a little too good with the tennis, in my view. In nautical parlance, John has had his share of miles under the keel. I think he's the sort of fellow-traveler AIRBNB was designed to accommodate; interesting, responsible, curious, funny (ha-ha, not peculiar), but mostly interesting. Think Entrepreneur-Academic. I've been hooked on AIRBNB for the last two years of a 30+ year largely mobile professional life. About the only thing that would be more interesting than having John as a guest in my home would be to find myself a guest in his. If you don't know tennis, ask him about hockey. Remember, he's Canadian.
John is a very good friend who stays at my place some times and take better care of it than I do! I always come home to a neat, clean place. He's honest and engaging too!
I trust John with my home.
