We stayed at Jane's house for 6 days and had a fabulous time. Jane's house is lovely and roomy with the killer view, great comfy bed and everything you need in the kitchen. A nice garden out back to sit if you wish. Jane's house is in a good location with the bus stop only a couple of streets away and makes the trip downtown easy. Jane is a wonderful host, so friendly & welcoming she makes you feel so comfortable like you are at home. When we return for our next trip this is definitely where we will stay. Thanks Jane & Lizzie.
Maybe I will be knocking on your door in Melbourne first! And thank you for being terrific guests.
My family of four had a fabulous stay at Jane's place in Vancouver. The accomodations were perfect as was the location. The garden setting and the ocean/mountain view were amazing. Jane was helpful and friendly. My youngest daughter enjoyed socializing with Jane and her dog. We were so comfortable there it was hard to leave. We hope to return someday!
The house was close to Trans Canada 1 (BC 1). It is convenient to go place. It is a quiet and safe area. The kids loved Jane 's second bedroom; it was cute. We enjoyed our stay in Vancouver.
This was a perfect experience. Wonderful home and very well explained. I would highly recommend staying here. It's a picturesque view of the inlet. Very easy to get around from.
Jane made us feel very welcome, she was extremely helpful and very friendly, she gave us ideas on where to eat and places to visit and she replied quickly to the queries I had.
Jane's apartment is beautiful, it's spacious and light and airy and she has provided lots of thoughtful touches. There are stairs to climb to reach the apartment which aren't an issue unless you have mobility problems (being upstairs provides a good view). I enjoyed sitting by the huge windows and out on the balcony watching the boats going by and people walking their dogs. In the evening the city lights shining on the water looked very pretty.
I wasn't looking forward to staying in a city, I was concerned about the noise, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is in the apartment, we slept very well and the bed was nice and comfortable. Our stay was over far too soon, it's a shame our holiday wasn't longer, it was a nice, relaxing place to return to after a hectic day sightseeing.

We had a great stay at Jane's apartment. She was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed.
It was a good location for exploring both downtown and the north shore.
Before arrival, Jane and I exchanged a few emails as I had questions about the suitability of the area for a family of three, including a toddler.
She advised we take a taxi from the airport which was very helpful. The fare from the airport was around $40.
When we arrived we were astounded at how comfortable, well decorated and beautiful the house and neighborhood are. Shortly after our arrival and settling in Jane arrived and gave us a warm welcome. She was very attentive to my daughter, introducing her to Lizzie, her dog.
My daughter is quite shy but loves animals and meeting Lizzie really put her at ease.
Every day we would go 'visit ' Lizzie and Jane and discuss our plans for the next day or chit chat. It was very nice having Jane love on the property to answer any questions that may not be addressed in her comprehensive guide.
The neighborhood is safe, within a 15-20 minute walk you can reach banks, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries as well as buses to downtown. I recommend buying the day pass bus ticket, it is worth the money.
The sink in the bathtub I had trouble figuring out how to turn it off but my husband figured it out in a couple of minutes.
We would definitely stay here again upon a return trip
Thanks Jane for making it such a personal experience!
Jane's place was just like in the pictures and a great place to stay in. It's a close 15-20 min drive or taxi ride to downtown Vancouver. The beds were both very comfortable and she had lots of towels for us to use. The kitchen is a nice size and we used it for a couple of meals; everything we needed to cook with was there. The living room has a nice view of the water and opens on to a balcony. She has a great guide book to help explain where things are and how to work stuff around the house. Also a few notes on Vancouver and things to do around the city.
Because our schedules didn't line up we didn't get to meet Jane until we were leaving but she's very nice and I wouldn't have any problem recommending her place for a stay.
Nice place, great area - super cool watching the ships go by. Clean and spacious and a fluffy bed!
I felt at home in the sumptuous living room, panoramic picture windows Reveal a spectacular view of Grouse and the entire north shore mountains and active harbour. There is also a secret garden where one can listen to the song birds in peace. In addition this home is minutes from downtown by car or bus or bicycle and walking distance to beaches and shopping. You won't be dissapponted!
Jane has a great home with a killer view and perfect location — minutes to downtown and a few blocks to Highway 1, leading to Whistler. She is an avid gardener so I am sure you will enjoy her quiet and private backyard. I have been Jane's friend for several years and I know that her previous airbnb guests have been very satisfied with their stay.
