Loving life as a teacher and adventurer in Portland. I have a lovely apartment in a charming neighborhood in the NE. I love my studio! Enjoy it when you're in town.

Jacque was easy to communicate with and I really enjoyed staying here. It is a clean, tastefully decorated studio and in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood. Six-block walk to large grocery store and close to restaurants although I was at a conference and didn't have a chance to try them. I would stay here again.
A friend and I stayed at this adorable studio apartment for a week. The location was perfect for us! We didn't need to rent a car as it was a short walk to the nearest MAX station ( to down town Portland so that saved on money.
The place was spotless and roomy when we first arrived. Loved the kitchen. The absolutely best though was the bed! I am not kidding, the bed alone is worth the stay here. I have paid twice as much with a hotel room and not have had a bed nearly as nice. After a long day of walking all over Portland it was lovely to climb in and rest soundly. My friend and I alternated between the bed and the pull out bed, and had no issue with the pull out bed.
Neighbors were friendly and there was plenty of places to eat in walking distance along Broadway, especially if you like Thai food. Another bonus was all the variety of books Jacqueline has to browse and read for any down time.
I never got to meet Jacqueline but she was nothing but a pleasure to work with. Always quick with her replies and a great communicator. She gave us lots of recommendations for our trip. I had a lovely time here and would easily stay here again!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacque's apartment! It is really cute and charming - it feels very Portland and I'm so glad we got to experience living in the city. We were always comfortable and it is the perfect spot to make breakfast, then head out to explore the city or hike all day, come back and crash. Communication with Jacque was always very easy! One downside - while the neighborhood seems to be quiet overall and has lots of parking, on two nights either the neighbors or someone walking by outside got loud and woke both of us up. But this wasn't any worse than in a hotel and we just went back to sleep. It's really a great spot!
Jacque's place was great - close to the Max line, a good size, and she even left a bottle of beer for me! I had a great time.
