We were met by Brian at the station and given a comprehensive tour of the property. We found it comfortable, warm and it met all our needs . Brian was out of Barmouth for the days we were there but answered the phone promptly on both occasions, the second time just to say thank you.
Welcomed on arrival & shown round. Everything as good or better than described. Excellent centre for the area with walks on the doorstep.
Brian was at the cottage to meet us. the place itself was great...quite small but ingeniously has everything that you could ask for (unless you want Terrestial TV or Internet).
We arrived to a very special cottage with a beautiful view to the sea. The visit in Barmuth was magical with an excellent beach and good places to eat (after the host recommendations ). The location is perfect for star type trips in Snowdonia national park. The cottage is very homey equipped with all family needs. To this end, perfect for a family, highly recommended.
Fantastic location and great view.
Brian was a great host and pointed us to all the best spots in Barmouth. His house was perfect for our little family, right above the town with spectacular views of the whole bay. We had a lovely stay!
Brian has a great spot. We spent hours playing on the beach and watching the sunset over the water from the terrace balcony. I had a really hard time leaving this place. Thanks Brian for a great stay.
Great guests hope their uk visit went well.
We had a very good weekend staying in Barmouth. The location just above the town centre, and the views from cottage and garden across the town rooftops, the sea and to the Lleyn peninsula were superb. especially at sunset - and there was the sun to appreciate it. The location was a great base to explore the area: Mawddach estuary; Cader Idris; Cwm Bychan for Rhinogs; and a good walk right from the cottage to the National Trust's first property.
The cottage isn't flash, it's fairly basic, but it was comfortable - and dog friendly. Brian's directions and information were excellent, and he was polite, friendly and keen to help without intruding when we met. Thanks for a good weekend.
Brian's home was just what we needed for our visit and it is a lovely place. Brian is a great host and made sure that we were squared away from the beginning. Barmouth itself was a pleasant surprise and we got a chance to sample many aspects of the attractions that the community had to offer. The setting is magical!!
Really enjoyed our stay at Brian's cottage. Brian was there to meet us when we arrived and was very friendly and happy to give us information about the local area. The cottage is lovely, clean, in a great location just a short walk to the beach and provided everything we needed. Great to have a real fire and no free wifi or terrestrial TV made it a fantastic break from the real world! We hope to stay again soon.
