My name is Krisztián. I'm from Budapest. I was born here made my studies here. I lived half year abroad, returned home and intended to leave Hungary again but I found - as most of us do - that it's hard a little bit to leave this city forever. Probably because of the really nice memories I have and because of Buda, the greener side of the Danube.
I've been working in hospitality for five years and in lodging for two years now. I like this kind of activity for more reasons. First of all I like being among smiling people, Hungarians and forigners alike, spending their vacations and leisure time.
I myself am a big dreamer. I wish to travel a lot in the future. I'd love to see landscapes I've never seen, breathe in the atmosphere and scent of other countries, see the every day life of strange, unknow people in never seen continents and experience their attitudes of life. Hope to do it in the future...
Favourite free time activities are walking and cycling alone or with my friends and listening to lectures in various subjects through mp3. I'm planning to start wall climbing, painting and studying at least one more language. I'm interested in cultural events (theatres, cinemas, museums for instance), but my favourites are open-air events such as festivals, of which we fortunately have a lot and various kinds here in Hungary.
I like reading a lot, starting from travel books through fantasy to philosophy, my favourites are the history books of the Antiquity. Though I must admit, nowadays after long working hours I usually end up watching something interesting on the computer.
I'm interested in all kinds of documentary films and to be honest some series for example like "A Game of Thrones" from George R.R. Martin.:)
About myself as a host I can say, somehow providence seemed to drive me into hospitality, maybe because of my basic friendlyness and sense of responsibility. Basically I consider myself as a flexible and helpful person, so I'm ready to assist with all kind of questions and requirements arise so as to ensure a pleasant time for you in Budapest.
