We had a fantastic time staying at Amicie's apartment. It's very clean and the location is superb! It's close to lots of cafes, restaurants, and metro stops are close. Communication with her was no problem, and she was very helpful. When she was not able to meet us for check in, her boyfriend waited patiently for us to arrive. All in all it's a great spot with a great host. I highly recommend staying here.
Perfect host and flat! Highly recommandable.
Good location too
We had such a great time in Amicie's flat. My daughter, 7 months old fell in love with Amicie's goldfish.
Amicie was really nice with us. She accepted our reservation in the very last minute, and arranged everything in the flat the morning of our arrival. Etienne, his boyfried, welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know in perfect spanish!
At the airport, my husband noticed that he forgot a packet with french cheeses, and Amicie managed to sent them by post the following day. Overall, Amicie is a great host, very responsice, easy-going and a nice person.
The flat is as showed in the pictures with plenty of interesting books and travel guides, fashion and decoration magazines very clean, with all ammenities you need (including a bath tub for our baby) and very well located. Canal St.Martin is one of the greatest areas in Paris!! The flat is located next to a small bakery shop, and there's plenty of good restaurants around like Le Verre Volé, La Cantine de Quentin and Hotel du Nord all serving 1st class food. There are also less expensive places to eat as Mme Swan, Quai Gourmande, another crepêrie in rue Lancry opened few months ago and Pink Flamingo, a pizza place across the canal serving one of the best pizzas!!
There are also many interesting shop, like Loft, Antoine et Lili, Pop Market, Artazan bookstore...
It is very closed to rue Marseille and Beaurepaire where there one of the best boulangeries in Paris: Du Pain et des idées, several outlets of french chlothing brands and many other shops, including a Naturalia.
We loved staying in Amicie's place, and we will definetly come back again if we visit Paris
thanks you so much!!
