The house key arrived safely by post although it was inconvenient that you took it with you when you left Oxford.
I would like to thank you for some of your positive comments and I take note of your fastidious observations about some of the features of the low budget room that you took for 4 days! I would like to point out that I have a very detailed account of the size of the private wet-room and need not further emphasis about that or the length of the bed; all clearly described on the Airbnb website. For your information, on the odd occasion that a guest has been larger than expected or they have found the bed or wet-room too small, I have always arranged alternatives for them at no extra cost as I am highly concerned about the well-being of my visitors.
Following your brief stay at my house, I was too courteous to mention it lest I hurt your feelings, but evidently you feel no such compunction but I now have no hesitation is telling you that my daughter was brought to tears by your cold-shouldering and insensitive comments about her and her (soon to be) step-children. Strange how you failed even to greet them when they first entered the kitchen and yet, when the little girl Julie addressed you as 'tu' you immediately chastised her and told her to use 'vous'..... Did you not see what effect this had on her as a child of 4 years of age? The other guests in the house all complemented us on how adorable they were. For your information my daughter lives in Brussels and this was the first time she has visited us with her new family and she only stayed for 3 days.
I have more to add to this diatribe but I prefer to remain silent as I am so indignant that these wonderful little visitors to my home should be described as 'tiresome /fatigants' and I meanwhile complement you on your ability to cut through a great atmosphere like a knife.
