I'm originally from Minnesota, but I've lived in San Francisco for 20+ years and now think of it as home!

Nice apartment, ideally situated near the metro in a calm neighborhood. Bars, restaurants and parks within walking distance.
Very responsive host with clear indications about everything we needed.
The only drawback is that the apartment is a little dark.
Overall we would certainly consider staying there if we come back to San Francisco.
Corrie was absolutely fabulous! Check-in was super easy, and she was very communicative and helpful. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious and lovely-- she even left some fruit for us on the table!
My only complaint is that the locations of light switches were TOTALLY WEIRD. Whoever initially designed the place did not think that through, but it should not reflect on the quality of the rental. It was the perfect place to stay the weekend.
Usually I stay in hotels when in SF on business, but on advice of a colleague tried AirB&B and this first experience was perfect - exactly as advertised. As a woman traveling on my own I felt safe, the apartment was clean and loved having space (unlike cramped hotel rooms). Also great neighborhood to walk around - arrived to go to the amazing Wednesday market just down the hill.
Corrie was very responsive - even offering to get me a coffee from a local store when the power went out. Hope to be back again. Thanks Corrie!
A trouble free stay. Great price for a basic apartment, fantastic location. Corrie was friendly and helpful (thanks for holding our bags for us after we checked out!) and I can definitely recommend staying here.
The location of the apartment was excellent for what we wanted for our stay in San Francisco, but so very disappointing. It was very dingy and having seen photographs on the Airbnb website, it had looked very bright but sadly there wasn’t much natural light at all, particularly for a first floor property.
A previous review said that the place lacked crockery, which is true as we had to wash up far too much as there were only 2 mugs and a lack of food preparation crockery.
We also had to request toilet rolls, washing up liquid and a bread board. The suede settee and armchair were stained and we would recommend dispensing with the services of the cleaners as they appear to have done very little. The oven was a disgrace being covered with grease and rust.
On a positive note, the hot water was lovely and the washer/dryer a bonus.
We met Corrie after we arrived and again when we left and although she was very friendly, we had not expected to be left to our own devices quite so much, as we thought she might show more interest and concern over her guests.
This was my first experience with an Airbnb stay, and it was very pleasant. Corrie was very communicative and was always ready to answer any questions and was thorough with information and answers. Her place was cozy and convenient to public transportation and the Mission and Castro areas. I would stay here again!
This was my very first Air BnB experience and Corrie was incredibly responsive and resourceful. No doubt in my mind I'll stay with Corrie again if I am ever in SF. Great time. Great location. Great price.
Thank you Corrie.
Corrie's apartment is very clean and easy to settle into... very cozy. The location is amazing - we walked to Haight and Mission for shopping and dinners with no problem.
Highly recommend this spot. Thanks so much, Corrie!
Corrie was great, very communicative and accommodating (thanks so much for late check out - which ended up being even later). The apartment's pluses were easy access, 2 heaters so toasty on the cooler nights, location easy to walk to The Haight and Castro, lots of books on SF. Disappointed that there was no toilet paper (am sure this was oversight) bed was a little uncomfortable (roll together), would have been nice to have a booklet telling more about the area - where to buy groceries etc (eg toilet paper :), recommendations on where to eat, directions/notes eg short walk over the hill you can pick up the F Line to Fisherman's Wharf and in the other distraction the 71 streetcar to Haight Ashbury. Definitely needs more plates, cups etc., a bit of a nuisance to have to do dishes every time you want a cup of tea. Overall good value for money. If you do stay here the fruit shop on the corner has good coffee for 50c and on the run food for reasonable prices.
This conveniently located apartment is cozy and spacious, and just a little bit quirky (what San Francisco home isn't?). It was just like living in San Francisco again. Our host is prompt and very friendly. She accommodated us as special needs came up during the trip and was very helpful.
Conklin came with her friend, everything was perfect, communication and the cleanest of the apartment when they left I highly recommend them.
Corrie et son amie Carolyn deux hôtes absolument charmantes, gaies
et chaleureuses. Nous espérons les revoir à san Fransisco!
Corrie and her brother were great guests; quiet and courteous. We would have them back anytime
It was a very pleasure to have Corrie and her friends as hosts! I will recommend her!!
Being one of the most fun-loving people that I know, Corrie provides a uniquely located apartment within a few minute’s walk of dog-friendly Duboce Park and hilltop Buena Vista Park with incredible views of San Francisco. The apartment is very close to several of the liveliest and entertaining neighborhoods in San Francisco –Lower Haight, Castro, Noe Valley – and includes easy transit to Downtown (via Market Street, a few blocks away). You will enjoy easy access to everything in the heart of the city not to mention being in the sunniest and warmest area of San Francisco. Corrie is available to answer questions and provide some great insights to happenings around the City.
I am fortunate to have Corrie as my neighbor. She is the kind of responsible, thoughtful person everyone wants as a neighbor, and her warmth, humor and friendship have made her a trusted friend. We've known each other five years, and shared our histories, lives, resources, and ideas. Among the experiences we share is hosting through Airbnb, and Corrie is a model host. She is a long-time San Franciscan, and knows the ins and outs of this city. She is solid, caring and professional, and you will appreciate her balance of hospitality and responsibility when you stay with her.
I have known Corrie for years, both as a friend and as a colleague. She's been unfailingly cheerful, friendly, and always willing to help anyone. She goes above and beyond in her efforts to do well at anything she endeavors to do. She loves to laugh and joke, and the only things she takes really seriously are her responsibilities. Anyone coming to San Francisco could add great memories of how wonderful and friendly San Franciscans are by staying with Corrie!
I have known Corrie for nearly 10 years. She is a wonderful friend....kind, thoughtful, trustworthy, and fun. And, she knows the City. Consider yourself fortunate if you are able to stay in her house in the heart of San Francisco.
