Angela and Pino's trullini are an architectonic wonder perfectly fitting in the Val d'Itria landscape. The outdoor kitchen is the highlight of the venue, spacious and equipped with all you need to enjoy a warm summer night sipping a glass of good Primitivo wine. The trullini are cosy and provide everything a couple of a small family needs. In the surrounding area there is a very well maintained cycling and running path, we highly recommend to take a stroll or a cycling tour along the aqueduct.
Angela and Pino are wonderful hosts, and always ready to give you recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing.
E' stato un grande piacere conoscerti e averti nostra ospite.
We had a wonderful week in the Trulli of Angela and Pino, two lovely people who gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. The Trulli is cosy and romantic and has a beautiful outdoor space with nice terrace and outdoor cooking facilities. The Trulli was very clean and there are screens on all the Windows so the bugs stay out . Cities as Martina franca, ostuni, alberrobello and cisterino are all within 40 minutes drive or less.
We would definately recommend to stay at Angela e Pino's Trullini!
per la cura e l'attenzione che hai avuto per i nostri (website hidden) auguriamo di poterti ospitare ancora in futuro.
Staying for a week we surely had a wonderful time in this marvelous trulli. Close to the serene Martina Franca but situated within the surrounding area, very quiet and save too. A real tasteful place to stay. On the inside you find really everything you need, on the outside plenty of space in the lounge area. We will surely come back there, when we travel to puglia again some day.
Go for it fellows, you will be pleased for sure.
Very beautifull place in the countryside but close to the city.
Very nice host.
Quiet and relaxing.
Perfect to discover Puglia!
We arrived in Valle dell’Itria quite late in the evening, everything was dark and we didn’t have a clue where we were, given the fact that neither of us had been there before! We found our way there easily thanks to the clear directions Angela had sent via email. Pino was there waiting for us and showed us around in a friendly and welcoming manner despite it being around 11pm when we finally got there, quite tired, after about 2 hours’ drive from Bari. Pino explained to us all the ins and outs of the area, leaving some information material on what to visit and also showing us on the map what the best destinations were. We also found it very sweet that Pino and Angela left local culinary products to enjoy.
The Trullini is beautiful, very well looked after with personal touches which give to the place a real homey feeling. The place has been restructured at high standards, it’s impeccably clean, it has large outside cooking facilities with a relax area as well. The outdoor space is very well designed with built in cushion benches, dining area and large outdoor kitchen, all surrounded by beautiful flower beds. When they renovated the property Angela and Pino were clearly inspired by the many interior magazines that one can find in the Trullini. The terraced space around the trullini is very versatile and can be enjoyed during the day as it is private enough to sunbath; there is also an outside shower to that aim. In the evening it’s a great observation point for romantic sunsets, huge moons and shooting stars in the sky of Puglia.
The land around the trullini is still part of the property and is very big, there is an orchard with olive trees, figs and pear trees and a very nice landscape around. A part from the lovely time we had at the trullini (with also satellite tv!) we explored Puglia and enjoyed the wonderful towns nearby such as baroque Martina Franca and Cisternino, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni… We also went to Torre Guaceto natural reserve, Grotte di Castellana, Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca and we explored nice beaches on both the Ionic and Adriatic coast.
At the end of the holiday when Pino came back to greet us we were sorry to go, it has been a great holiday and the Trullini the perfect location for it.
My wife and I stayed at Pino and Angela home in Pulia, Italy. This was our 1st trip to Italy so we had no idea about the area and what to expect. After searching the internet for a couple of hours looking for the perfect place to stay while on vacation we came across Pino and Angela's add, we inquired by email and they responded right away. After some consideration we decided to book their home for our vacation. (Being a former Real Estate Broker in Manhattan I was very skeptical about booking from online)
After landing in Rome and renting a car we drove to Puglia (6 hour drive but worth it). When we arrived in Puglia we found what we thought was our accommodations, when we pulled into to the driveway we were greeted by a man and asked if he was Pino, and he said that he was and he introduced us to his wife Angela! To our surprise they said they didn't have a record of our reservation. (Not what I needed to hear after an 8 hour flight followed by 6 hours in a car.)
After some investigation we discovered that we were at the wrong place and the bed and breakfast husband and wife had the same exact names. What are the odds? Pino called our Pino and we discovered we were only 5 minutes away from our destination. Pino being the great host that he is came and picked us up right away and guided us to our destination.
Pino is awesome, he had some red wine and local cheese, tomatoes and olives there waiting for us, yums! As a matter of fact it was the best red wine I ever had. Pino and Angela's home is beautiful, well decorated and updated with all modern and luxurious countenances. The outdoor patio and outdoor kitchen was my favorite, it is private, quiet and super clean. I highly recommend their home and Pino and Angela are great host.
We will be back!
Thank you Pino and Angela for making our first stay in Italy the best experience of all of our travels yet!
