Daniel made the entire process of booking, staying and leaving completely seamless for me. I was welcomed to the apartment, which is exactly how it is described and looks in the listing, and showed around promptly. Anything I needed was there and Daniel had thought of everything - even some ear plugs to block out the construction site across the street! The apartment is based in the perfect area and the host had left lots of tips for places to visit.
I will definitely be booking this place again for my next Brooklyn trip :-)
Daniel's apartments was absolutely lovely. The neighborhood is fantastic, the apartment is only one block from Atlantic Avenue and within walking distance to all of the bars, restaurants, and shops in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens. We were even able to walk to the Barclay's Center to see the Nets play! Daniel and his partner Max are absolutely lovely and accommodating. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated - it is clear from all of the design books in the apartment that good aesthetics are a passion of Daniel's! The space was quite large (compared to other BK apartments) and very calm and well laid out. The only negative would be the many stairs - but after the initial luggage dump this was not much of an issue. Overall, it was exactly the retreat we needed!
Daniel was a warm & accommodating host! The apartment was exactly as it appeared in the photos-clean, & modern with a touch of old world charm. I highly recommend staying at Daniel's place for your next stay in NYC!
We had a wonderful time in Daniel's apartment. The neighbourhood is really nice, providing a great Brooklyn experience. As can be seen from the photo's the apartment is truly wonderfully decorated. The warm water supply of the shower is a bit unpredictable and we saw some small cockroaches in the kitchen, but those were minor details and something you can expect in an old (but lovely) Brooklyn building. Can definitely recommend staying here when you visit NY.
thanks so much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.
The apartment was exactly as described and the location is really great. I truely think it's hard to find another apartment located in walking distance of so many different metro stations.

The apartment is great. In old authentic New York building, with nice designer's furniture, lamps and so on inside. It was a pleasure to live there. But be ready to walk up and down five floors. Very convenient location, close to everything, including subway.
Daniel is excellent host, kind and helpful.
We had a great time in New York and really enjoyed the apartment from Max and Daniel.
A great spot, useful as home base for a nice city trip as it’s located very near a metro station, small supermarket, local bars and shops (Atlantic Avenue). The interior is well designed and equipped.
So in general an apartment that we can really recommend!
Daniel is an excellent host. He communicated quickly and thoughtfully before by stay. Once I was at his front door, he arranged my entrance, and I was welcomed to his wonderful apartment.
His home was very clean, prepared for someone to stay, and easy to settle into. Beautiful, quiet, well furnished (that Herman Miller Eames chair is to die for) and comforting.
Location wise, it's perfect. Quiet cross streets and smack dab in the middle of all the cool stuff to the East and West. I wouldn't hesitate to return, or recommend Daniel's listing.
Had such a wonderful experience in Daniel's Boerum Hill Apartment. The place was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful place to stay during our time in NYC. The place was immaculate, gaining access was super easy. We loved it, couldn't recommend it more.
