I am an Airbnb fan, I did meet wonderful people be at my house in Paris or else when I travel…Even for business I now avoid impersonal hotels...

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Jacques' picturesque Paris apartment. Jacques communicated with us by email and telephone in anticipation of our stay. We also telephoned Jacques' representative, Patrick, before our arrival, to confirm our arrival time and that all the telephone numbers worked.
We were promptly greeted by Patrick upon our arrival. He instantly felt like an old friend, and was cheery and helpful. Upon entering the apartment our dreams were quickly realized. The apartment was GORGEOUS and the photos on airbnb were an honest representation of the apartment.)
Patrick showed us through using the fully-equipped kitchen and it's appliances, the water, the washing machine, etc. Jacques left us a beautiful bottle of wine to toast our arrival. We had wifi access that worked consistently well.
The apartment was very clean and tidy. It is quite large and there was plenty of room. The extra half bath was great where my husband used that for his dressing room, and I had the larger bathroom with a dressing table. We always had hot water for our showers/tub and to wash clothes and dishes.
The view is indescribable. We laughed that our night light were the clocks of Musee D'Orsay-seriously, they are right out your bedroom window. Of course you have the Louvre and Eiffel Tower out the other balcony windows. It is as spectacular as pictured. We would keep the balcony doors open to hear the street noises and get a great breeze, but when they were closed we were not bothered by the street noise.
The area is very high end and we felt comfortable walking around at all hours. Two of the nights we had a picnic in the Tuileries Gardens that were directly across the street. Angelina's is right down a few blocks, and there is a small grocery about one block away, on Honoree. I didn't find any small bakeries, cheese or wine shops, like you can easily locate in other parts of Paris, but when we were in those districts we would pick up picnic foods and bring them back - no big deal. (They were probably there, we just didn't come across them.)
There are several Metro stations easily accessible, with the Tuileries stop directly across the street, and a taxi stop just feet away.
Check out was also smooth. We had an early flight and Patrick met us promptly (even a couple minutes early) to check us out and get us a taxi.
We have absolutely no complaints about our stay and would not hesitate in recommending this property. The only clarification I would offer future travelers is that the bed is a pull out couch, however, it has a high end memory foam type mattress, so extremely comfortable and was not an issue for us. The bedding was good quality and luxurious. The bedroom area had large heavy curtains to enclose it for privacy and darkening features. It made for a romantic stay in the City of Lights.
Located in the premier area of Paris, this apartment had all the amenities to make a week long stay outstanding.
This is the best area in Paris; as it is safe, Metro access is easy and plenty of restaurants and shopping.
The well kept property had an amazing view of the Tuilerie gardens and the Eiffle Tower. Jacques was an outstanding host, he provided a lovely bottle of wine as well as the services of his butler Patrice.
We always felt comfortable and quickly fell in love with the ease of our stay.
I highly recommend this property and will certainly rent again.'
