58 years old lady , widow . Very good english. good french . lives in Iguazu .
We loved staying with Ana - she is super friendly and very funny. We had a lot of laughs and really enjoyed chatting with her. Highly recommended! :)
The location it's ok, and ANA Ines it's very kind, but the room and the sheets where VERY dirty and, for the first time in our life, we had to leave the place in advance and find another accommodation.
Response from Ana Ines:
I'm very sorry for the bad impression and experience you had, but from my point of view sheets were fine. hope you enjoyed the other accommodation and got a nice experience from your visit
Ana was very kind with us during our stay, she even picked us up with her car from our previous location in Iguazu and pointed out the main conveniences like supermarket etc...
The room was extremely small, barely enough space for one person let alone two. We had to place our luggage on the bed because there was not enough space! Breakfast was really poor and we are sorry to say but the general level of hygiene in the house was extremely poor.
I enjoyed my time in Iguazu a lot and that is largely is due to Ana being such a nice host and helping me make the most of my stay wherever she could. She was quick to respond from the start and acted as my airport taxi as well as showing me around town and helping me get all the information needed. Thanks Ana!
We were visiting for one day to see the falls (of course!) and were looking for a good deal. Ana is a very solicitous, accessible host who can help you with the many aspects of visiting the town, as only a longtime resident (and car owner) can. Conversation with her over the morning breakfast is very nice. Space in the room is pretty limited (especially for 2 people) but is fine for a brief visit. A really nice aspect was the wireless internet which worked well.
Ana went out of her way to help us out. She picked us up at the airport, and dropped us off at the falls directly. This helped us to make the most use of our time since we were in Iguazu for only 1 day. Talking to Ana feels like reconnecting with the aunt you have not met in a long time. She puts you at ease immediately. The house was perfect for our overnight stay. I recommend it.
When traveling I look for authentic local experiences and Ana presents in her AirBnb a very interesting authentic experience. She is easy to talk to very educated and great with communication before arrival.
Her wooden cottage is very cute, her front porch offers a big area to sit while checking our e mail if you bring your laptop. Wireless was good.
It was relaxing staying at Ana's.
Ana´s cottage is full of character and there is a very nice outdoor garden area. The dogs are lovable and the cats are decorative. There is not a lot of spare room at Ana´s, as the cottage is tiny.. The bedroom is small but you will have a bathroom to yourself.
Ana herself is lovely, good company, and is happy to act as your taxi to airport etc which is much nicer that getting a strange taxi driver.
For the very low price she charges, Ana´s place is value for money.
Great! See my other review! :)
This is why I love love love Airbnb! Ana was the kindest, sweetest host, and I am so glad that I got to know her. She picked me up from the bus station, drove me back to the airport, and made sure I was cared for during my time in Puerto Iguazu. I loved staying with Ana (and her dogs and cats)! The location was great - quiet and away from the hostels on the beaten path. At night you could see the stars perfectly. The walk into town from Ana's house was only about 10 minutes, so it really offered the best of all worlds. Ana is a lovely host, and I am so thankful that I got to spend some time with her. Thanks again, Airbnb!
