Matteo was out of town, but provided detailed directions and dinning tips. The apartment unfortunately is old and needs a renovation.
Matteo's apartment was the perfect place for my four friends and I to stay a night in Cinque Terre. It's in one of the quieter villages which we really appreciated and was well-maintained and cleaned as well as super affordable. He wasn't able to meet us at the apartment but sent me a detailed message with recommendations of restaurants and bars, ways to get around the five villages, etc., which we really appreciated. Definitely the best accommodations we could have asked for during our magical weekend in Cinque Terre! :)
Good location, clean apartment.
Though a little bit small for 5 people ,the apartment is really great. Matteo is a very nice guy, he even prepared a timetable of train in his house, So thoughtful! And I want to apologize for the early arrival, we came before the required time of check-in(because things went much more smoothly than we expected).
Matteo was very helpful and friendly. The location was phenominal and the apartment was clean and well equipped. We cooked two full meals in the kitchen and all enjoy the the space very much. Restaurant, gelateria, pizza take out, seafood take out, and market all with in a one minute walk. The bed is a bit old, but the sofa bed in the living room was quite comfortable. Matteo gave us lots of recommendations and the trip couldn't have been better unless the main hiking trails were open... We end up hiking up the steep trails. But, of course that has no thing to do with our host.
Matteo is very good at communicating quickly. The apartment is close to the train station.
My friends and I absolutely loved our stay in Riomaggiore. Matteo's flat was exactly like the pictures and conveniently located on the major street. It was very easy to fine and enter. We would definitely come back!
The apartment was perfect. Nice, easy location right in the middle of Riomaggiore, close to the train station and the water. Everything was clean and comfortable and although there was no wifi, we felt no desire to seek it out. We didn't get to meet Matteo, but he left us a long, helpful message that told us everything we needed to know and then some.
Spent a good time in Cinque terre, nice stay and prefect location! Thanks for hosting!
Matteo's apartment exceeded my expectations. It's a one bedroom, complete with a living room and a full kitchen. In other words, this place is huge.
It's situated around 7 minutes away from the Riomaggiore train station, and it couldn't be more convenient. Immediately, we felt at home and although there was no wifi, any restaurant / bar down the street had free internet access (with a purchase of course).
If you need any assistance at all, Matteo's cousins live upstairs, so the key exchange was very easy. I didn't get to meet Matteo in person, but he's great at communication and super flexible with scheduling (especially when there was a train strike that impacted our travel plans).
I'd highly recommend this flat.
Thanks Matteo, we loved your place.
A really good choice!!
Matteo's flat is very confortable and clean, moreover he is always very kind and at one's disposal. If you like to spend your next holidays in Cinque Terre, he's the right person to address to!!!
Staying at the apartment that Matteo has in Riomaggiore was beautiful. We has the apartment to ourselves. It is right above an outdoor restaurant, but there was very little noise by the time we were going to bed. The beautiful apartment is in the southernmost town of the five in Cinque Terre, I highly recommend visiting Cinque Terre staying anywhere, but if you're lucky enough you'll get to stay at Matteo's. :)
Matteo's apartment in Riomaggiore is nice and clean, looks exactly like in the photos and it's very easy to get to. It's close both to the train station and the beach. Being above Bar Centrale can get noisy in the evening, but we didn't mind that. In fact we liked that in the morning the coffee was just a few flights of stairs away from us :) The only thing we had a small problem with was the hot water that sometimes just stayed cold.
Matteo was very friendly and helpful. He has brought for us a map of Cinque Terre and gave us tips about the town. All in all we had a great time in Cinque Terre staying at Matteo's apartment.
