Chiung-Yin has a really cool laid back personality and welcoming smile, but was kind of misleading and high maintenance. My guest did have to wait 40 min to meet up but failed to mention that her flight was 3 to 4 hours late and that it wasn't exactly clear what flight she would be getting on. All that said, she got to the room and seemed to like it but then made a big deal about this "hole in the door" which was dramatic. The building was an old hotel. Every door has a slatted vent section at the bottom. The slats on that apt had been replaced by a board. It's not a beautiful hand-carved wooden door plate, it's just a board and it covers the vent and creates privacy. Chuing-YIn's version was a little dramatic with worries of someone "getting in" and "getting her". I've had my off days in the past but in the 100+ reviews I have; no one has ever mentioned a boogeyman, or issues with intrusions. I totally stand by her "i saw a roach" because I had discovered a couple small ones after her departure and have since had the apt sprayed. It was definitley an isolated sighting. It's Texas, its getting warmer and bugs do come out. But again I've had pest control out since. I think she probably needed a less hip and more snazzy place. This space is fun DIY style not the Four Seasons. These are real individuals homes. I feel like this guest wouldn't communicate her needs, act like all is well to your face but give a bad review when with some communication her stay could be what she anticipated.
