All right. Well, here I am, making a profile on airbnb. Since Couch surfin requests didn't work out quite so well (due to last minute plans to attend SXSW 2013), hotel costs are through the roof, and I don't personally know anyone that lives in Austin, I turn to Airbnb as my ad hoc measure. *Just want to give a short shout out to Angellah from couch surfin in having recommended me to this site!*
This forthcoming paragraph is taken from my couch surfin profile. I am self-plagiarizing my own words, but hey it's mine, so can't I?
"To be honest, as of right now, my life has become so humdrum with the daily grind of work & school. What better way to relieve myself of this pressing issue than by traveling via couch surfin? It's certainly not the first notion most people would come up with in breaking the monotony of life, but thanks to a simple recommendation of a good friend of mine, it was for me. Here's to generating all types of new experiences with new people. Woot woot!"
My interests include anything related to life sciences, jamming out to music, technology, nature trails, museum touring, video games, freelancing, reading a good book, spending time with my pet cat, and group sports. Seems like a good enough list to me!
Places I have visited include Seattle, WA, San Antonio, TX, Nashville, TN, Portland, OR, and Monterrey, Mexico. Places I would like to go to (and hopefully soon) are the countries of Brazil, Japan, and Russia. They just intrigue me so much for various reasons!
As to a life motto, it would be the best things in life aren't things. It's experiences. And an experience I hope to experience fully is partaking in the events at SXSW in Austin, Texas with fellow SXSWers!
P.S. I have intentionally misspelled couch surfin as such due to Airbnb's censoring of website names. Lol, I do know how it's spelled.
