I currently live in Brooklyn, but was raised in CT. So, while the big city is always good times, I've been yearning to be around some trees, rivers, and campfires (I've also be re-reading Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, which is definitely a factor in my recent desire to commune with nature). I'm currently on AirBnb in search of a semi-isolated nice cabin in the woods by some water, mountains, and hiking trails in which to get my "Walden" on.
I travel light and like to spend time exploring an area without an itinerary. A map and a road (or wooded path) are all I need to enjoy a trip. I like to travel alone and with loved ones. As someone who has had many friends and family crash on one of the three couches in my living room over the years, I understand the importance of respecting another's space and being a considerate, conscientious, and clean guest.
Thank you for opening up your space to others and giving them shelter as they venture in the world.
