This has taken her to Spain: Canary Islands and Madrid; Canada: Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver; Mexico: Mexico City, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, and Baja California; the Venezuelan wide coasts -from west to east-, the Andes, Canaima National Park’s Angel Falls; and in the USA: Florida, Texas, Colorado, California, New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and Arizona. Since meeting Tim on (website hidden) and moving to Arizona, she has enjoyed life in Sedona/Verde Valley for eleven years now; six of them working for a famous restaurant in uptown Sedona as the Office Manager. Maria Elena loves cooking, hiking, camping and all means of traveling, whether by foot, car, boat, plane, or train! Her welcoming attitude and attention to detail ensures you will have a clean, safe and enjoyable stay.
Tim hails from California and has lived in the Sedona/Verde Valley area since 1982. He enjoys the great outdoors including hiking, backpacking, canyoneering, camping, and kayaking/canoeing. Tim enjoy sharing his love of the outdoors with others.
Tim served the community's public safety needs for 25 years retiring on December 2011 as a Fire Department Captain and Paramedic. He continues to teach swift water and rope rescue techniques to public safety professionals.
Tim enjoys the challenge of taking on new things ranging from designing/building our home to traveling, cooking, making espresso drinks and getting outdoors as much as possible.
Maria Elena and Tim both love to travel and meet fellow sojourners. This past summer we did a two months trip in our 4x4 RV and visited: Utah, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and California.
