tres bon sejour
The apartment was everything we had hoped for and more. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was very fresh and clean. The bathroom is on the small side and the shower was hot, however, the pressure was very poor at times. The location of the apartment is perfect. The noise at night did not bother us and the shops, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity were excellent. With a 2 minute walk to Rialto and a 5 minute walk to San Marco Sq - we considered this apartment to be excellent value for money in the heart of Vencie. Dealing with Mata was a pleasure - nothing was too much trouble. Our daughter was sick during our stay and she gave us excellent advice. We would definitely recommend this apartment. It is a perfect size for 4 adults. Thank you.
The Apartment was a great place to stay in a great location. it was ideal for our needs and everything worked well.
This is a great apartment in a very central and convenient location. The beds are comfortable, the apartment is conveniently furnished and equipped. Marta and Valentina welcomed us and showed us everything. The wifi worked like a charm. We felt very much at home in Venice!
A couple of things to bear in mind: the flat is on the third floor, so if the stairs are a problem, look elsewhere. Also, calle dei Fuseri is a central street and can get somewhat noisy at night (by Venice standards... this is still pretty quiet for most of us).
Dear Marta, dear Yuri, we enjoyed our stay in your spacious and central 70s design apartment in Venezia in the busy and crowded San Marco area. I am sorry that we did not meet one of you, this would have made our stay more personally. Like f.e. it did, when we met our airbnb-hosts in Verona and Firenze and had a glass of wine with them. Your maid Valentina was very friendly, though she had to wait for 1,5 hours due to Martas new telephone-number, about which we were not informed. It was no problem for us, that Valentina's not English speaking. Besides that, communication with you was easy. We liked your apartment, the heating and the w-lan worked very well and there were a lot of useful things like the typical italian espresso maker, a juicer and a steam iron. The beds were absolutely fresh, though the beds in the second sleeping room seemed a bit cheap compared to the main sleeping room. The shower-problem was quickly solved, the waterpressure must be really low in Venezia :-) But as this city is very special, the living-conditions are as well and we got used to it. What we would like to recommand for the future, is to fix the toaster and to look after the dishwasher, we could not find the refill salt and rinse aid. Maybe you also want to think about putting a few plants inside the apartment and cleaning the skylights and windows. Actually the view over the San Marco roofs would be very nice from the third floor, but not so much through dirty windows. It seems, that when the apartment was built, function followed form, cause the skylights and the interesting windows must be hard to clean :-) Overall we were happy. All the best, Matthias & family
Four girls in one apt can be challenging but this place is so spacious we were never in each others way, even when getting ready for a wedding. One tip... bring a sleeping mask for the downstairs bedroom because it can be a little bright when trying to sleep, but overall I prefer a place with good light! Marta, the house maid, was very friendly also and Yuri provided all the information needed and responded quickly. Great location!
Yuri's apartment is spacious and well located. Marta met us and advised us in regard to everything and this certainly made our stay in Venice extremely enjoyable. The apartment is large and very comfortable and had all necessary appliances including a toaster! This was welcomed by us being from Australia. I would highly recommend Yuri's apartment and have no hesitation in staying there again.
Marta was amazing! Flight was delayed getting in and didn't get into Vience until close to 1:00am. Marta not only was pleasant she meet us at the water taxi to walk us back to the apartment. We where happy with our stay and the location could not of been better! Hope to be back soon. Thank you for sharing your place!

The price and location of the apartment is great. Centrally located and near lots of shops and places to eat. Its easily accessible from the Vaporetto Rialto stop. The walk up to the top floor isn't bad and the steps are very nice but there isn't a light in the stairway or we couldn't find it so we had to use a flashlight at night. The previous apartment occupants had broken the washing machine door and Martha came to replace it two days after we arrived but it was a bit disappointing as we were counting on being able to do laundry right away. The shower gave us problems the entire 5 days and was either scalding hot or freezing cold. A technician came to look at the shower but I had 5 days of cold showers and coming from a 3rd world country I was pretty disappointed. The shower, washer and lots of mosquito bites due to having to leave the windows open is why only 4 stars.
