Todd's little hideaway in Echo Park is small but has all the essentials. I loved the hand held coffee grinder and the ingenious filter. Cool atmosphere, quiet yet very close to Sunset. Todd was very responsive and helpful when I showed up in the dark and couldn't find the place. I would love to stay there again.
The studio is really comfortable, though we didn't have a chance to meet Todd. He's really helpful! We enjoy days that we stay in Todd's place, awesome! :)
We loved our stay at Todd's guesthouse! He was very prompt to initially respond to my inquiry on the space and he checked in with us on our arrival day to make sure we got in and didn't need anything from him. The space was tidy and quiet and in a good location in Echo Park.
We would definitely book again next time we are in LA!
fast wifi!!! cozy room!!! good location!!! I like the BBQ place in back of the house.
first time we can not see address. hide house. hard to find first time.
also not really clean specially bathroom linen was dirly but i don't care that much. so it was ok.
not enough beddings no bedsheet for 3people only 1 sheet.
It was also ok tho.
great place! great location! would stay here again and strongly recommend!
Todd's studio was a great place to stay in while in LA. It was bright, clean, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I actually got a lot of work done while I was there because there is a nice desk and quiet surroundings. I found some good stuff to do locally but also felt it was easy to get to other parts of LA.
When we arrived the room had not been cleaned and the bed was unmade. We immediately called the number that Todd had left us and it was taken care of while we went out for dinner. Apparently there was a mix up in communication with the cleaning person.
The room was great. Bed was comfortable. Liked the bathroom. Very quiet location but still close to Sunset Blvd and Echo Park which was recently reopened after a complete renovation.
Would recommend Todd's place for a couple or single.
We spent one night in this Echo Park Cottage, in December 2013. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in LA for a good price.
Nitpicks: After we made the reservations we were told there would not be parking included. Street parking was challenging, but we did eventually find it two blocks away. When we got to the door there was a car parked so close we could hardly squeeze by or get to the key.
We were told there would be a computer that we could use, which there was not.
Todd's guesthouse was lovely! It was very spacious and perfect for two people to share. I was working or exploring LA during most of my stay, so I didn't spend too much time in the bungalow, but the time I did spend there was just perfect. After about 5pm it does get a little bit difficult to find street parking, but the most I had to walk was a full block or two. I'm from New York so I'm used to walking a few blocks to/from the train every day, so I wasn't bothered by it at all :)
Todd's place was wonderful. I appreciated the desk for work related activities. The kitchen was nice. The decorations are thoughtful. Overall, great place.
Super Guest! Always recommended! It was very nice
Todd was a wonderful guest. Communication was very friendly and he showed a great sense of responsibility for our home. He would be more than welcome to come back to our desert house.
Todd and his family were in and out in one night, but they were easy to communicate with, and left the apartment in great shape.
