We had a lovely restful stay at the Treehouse. It is in a great location and made visiting The Prom really easy.
Communication with Ivan easy and pleasant.
It really is a treehouse in the country side! A really cosy set out, with a great fireplace to keep us toasty upstairs. The view out to the water with the cows wandering by adds a lovely touch. We absolutely loved visiting the Promontory in winter - the scenery and the wildlife was fantastic. Highly recommended!
The host was helpful and very easy to communicate with, so no problems there. Also the location is ideal - it's really close to Wilson's Prom national park, just down the road from a general store and about 20 minutes from a town with a nice pub.
On the downside, we had to say the house was scarcely and cheaply furnished... Little things like no bedside tables. Not enough blankets (we had to raid the extra bed - if we'd have needed all the beds, it woulda been a bit miserable). Also, there wasn't enough firewood... we had to scavenge more. And the hot water turned off on day two. They are kind of little issues, but they make the difference between this being an OK place to stay and a really excellent place.
That said, I would recommend this place. It's a pretty piece of land, and like I said, its super close to the prom.
glad Daniel enjoyed the place . do not normally reply to criticisms but it is worth saying in case others have the problem that we have a full wood stack behind the cabin and I did let Daniel know - perhaps the message got lost in the communications

We had a great weekend down at Wilson's Prom. The house was extremely cold in winter but Ivan had warned us of this from the get go. Not having hot water initially was a little less than ideal and the house could have been better equipped with basics but as we spent most of our time exploring the area we really enjoyed ourselves.
Would be a fantastic place to say in the warmer months.
An amazing house in a serene location. Complete privacy inside an architecturally brilliant house. The upstairs setup needs to be seen in the flesh to be believed - absolutely beautiful. The property is abuzz with the natural sounds of the wildlife and insects giving it a true Australian feel. Only a 5 minute drive to the gates of the Prom National Park. All amenities were covered, we didn't go without anything. Ivan assisted us with all we needed to know before the trip - a great help. Highly recommended.
Very pleasant stay with three of my friends last weekend. Clean, quiet and with nice view from the house. Location is good too as it's just 15 mins drive to national park.
We loved our stay at the treehouse cabin. We were surrounded by beautiful green fields, trees and birds. The view from the upstairs kitchen was delightful and the wood fire warm and cosy. The house was situated an easy drive to the national park. We would love to return and had a wonderful stay. Thank you
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid winter. It was a good base for exploring the Prom. It had everything we needed. It was chilly so make sure you rug up if visiting in winter.
The treehouse at Yanakie is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to explore Wilson's Prom. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay - although you should take your own speakers of you would like to listen to music - but the birds are lovely too!
Ivan left the place very tidy and even replaced the complimentary bottle of wine! Thanks mate, welcome any time.
Ivan stayed at Aqua Aura Accommodation Albany for one night. Due to other commitments we missed meeting each other, the house was left clean & tidy.
Just one or two messages to book and a midnight phone call when getting in proved a problem but all was sorted quickly.
Ivan has stayed with us before so it was nice to have him stay again. He is always pleasant and communicates well. Geoff and Pam
Ivan is a great guy he introduce a professor from India staying at my place. They left the space tidy. We would love him stay with us again.I would love to host Ivan anytime a lovely gentleman.
Ivan stayed only one night , he was polite and left the space clean
Ivan was an unobtrusive guest, whom I hardly knew was there. I'd be happy to welcome him back anytime.
Ivan happened to get here on the 4th of July from Australia. Here's what small towns do... yikes! Sounded like a war zone. anyway he said he caught up on his sleep, not sure how, but i hope so. He left the place clean and exactly the way he found it. i appreciate that. i hope he comes back on his next trip, just not on Independence Day!
Ivan was a quiet and pleasant guest.
I would love to host Ivan anytime; a lovely gentleman
