I am a 33 year adviser for a national non-profit organisation in New Zealand. I love travelling and have been lucky enough to visit a whole lot of amazing places - particularly in the Pacific and Central America. Highlights so far have been swimming with humpback whales in Va'vau, Tonga, learning to surf at one of my favourite beaches in Nicaragua, hanging with the monkeys in Bali and going to a disco in a cave in Cuba. I am a total water baby so usually end up travelling to places near the sea and spending most of my time, in on or under it. At home, I am lucky enough to live right by the beach, which comes with amazing surf and an abundant marine reserve.
I love meeting new people and attempting to speak with them in their local language, so I can usually get by in Spanish, French and most Polynesian languages. Since people always seem to teach me the bad words, I can also swear like a local in those languages as well as Taiwanese, Cantonese, Brazilian Portuguese..
In my down time I love reading and am a total foodie who will try anything once. I also love music and if it's good, will dance for hours on end.
