This was a very nice house with many amenities. It is a large area, so 13 of us did not feel crowded. The family really enjoyed the beach with Tiki hut. We had evening campfires on the beach. Location is convenient to both Baltimore and Washington, DC. We even drove a short distance and took the Metro train into Washington. I recommend people stay here.
We loved our long weekend at LindyLand! The house is fully equipped for cooking, grilling, relaxing by the water, making margaritas, playing yard games, and generally having a great time. Even with a dozen of us staying there, the house didn't feel crowded because there were so many great places to hang out and explore (tiki hut was a big favorite). Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived, and Dave provided good directions for how to use the stereo, tvs, and many other cool toys the house is equipped with. Highly recommended.
Dave's place was clean & warm right when we got in. He was very quick to respond when we had to text him, and he sent an email to me before travel which made me feel more secure and excited about the trip.
There wasn't toilet paper or paper towels, but that was the only thing that somehow got mixed up. We managed to get to a store and supply the house. Then it was back to smooth sailing.
Loved LindyLand...it's a very welcoming home, with all sorts of toys - for both kids and grownups. Swam in the water right off the dock. Swing set, outdoor beach furniture, multiple BBQs and outdoor TVs were great for watching the Olympics! The screened-in porch was perfect for b'fast, hanging out and even candlelit dinners. Very fun place to stay, thanks for sharing it with us!
Rented this house for the weekend for my 30th birthday... and I couldn't have had a better time! Dave's house is amazing! Every time you turn around there's something cool to discover. You will want for nothing in this house. Bars, TVs, games, couches, grills... the perfect house really. Not to mention that everything is incredibly comfortable and warm and inviting. Honestly my favorite memory is just sitting down by the water on the little beach watching the colors change at sunset. Oh. And the hammocks! There were non-stop fights over who got to use the hammocks. Seriously, do yourself a favor and book this house. You will not regret it. I can't wait to find another excuse to rent it myself. =D
Dave's townhouse was just awesome! Incredible location in the heart of downtown Bethesda, just two minutes from the Metro, and around the corner from countless restaurants. We also needed garage parking, and it provided (such a great perk in those parts). Dave and his wife were also responsive and communicative, able to assist us with on-the-spot questions via phone and text once we checked in. The place itself was huge (two-stories), with a huge kitchen (that we, sadly, didn't get a chance to use), cozy living room with flatscreen, and a great big bedroom that holds one of the largest beds I've ever seen in my life. The place was also impeccably clean. We couldn't find a spec of dust anywhere! Definitely a great stay.
