I'm an architect and my wife is an educator. We love walking, going to museums chatting with strangers, gardening and home improvement. I am also into home repair and kayaking. I've worked for a national architecture engineering practice. I've been with the same company for 29 years. Our company has a large office in NYC near Penn Station. I work primarily in transportation architecture. My first trip to NYC was in 1970 when my brother and I hitchhiked from Chicago to the east coast. I've been back many times since. My daughter went to NYU and graduated in 2011 with a degree in studio art. She works in the fashion industry in production for sustenance and draws, sculpts and does ceramics. My wife Kathi ran a private school for four years and is now looking for other opportunities in public education. I've lived and worked in Europe and am a dual American / Irish citizen. We have a cabin on Marrowstone Island in Puget Sound near Pt. Townsend, WA. I enjoy sea kayaking on both fresh and salt water and home repair.
