My name is Diana, I'm 35 and I am an architect and architecture historian (in a PhD program at Columbia University). I lived most of my life in California but moved to New York for school and work. I'm married and my husband Owen is usually my fellow traveler. He is also pursuing his PhD, studying the history of India and the Middle East.
I love New York. I love to eat and cook, visit weird museums with strange collections, history and making things. I also love traveling and though I've mostly traveled Europe, I can't wait to go to India and more of Asia. There are very few things that I couldn't live without, except, perhaps for my family and friends. Having books around is great too.
My favorite writers are Musil, Borges, Hugo, Perec...
Even though I clicked that I 'speak' French... that would perhaps be an overstatement. I can read French very very slowly—and I know many French words (especially food related vocab), but stringing sentences together is a challenge still... sorry!
I'm laid back, tidy and considerate...
