I spent my childhood in the country in Northern Ontario surrounded by rivers, lakes, wilderness and adventures. I grew up on a hobby farm and my parents operated a tree nursery on the property. I went to University in Ottawa and after spending a few years there moved back to the North to be closer to my family where I now live in a small house with my two cats. I love all animals and the outdoors, travelling, dancing, music, eating and trying new and exciting craft beer. I work for a consulting company specializing in community economic development for First Nation and Aboriginal communities, municipalities, non-profits and the private sector. I think that sharing my knowledge and volunteering my time are important tools that I can use to help better the lives of those less fortunate than myself.
